摘要： Advanced resins and unadvanced epoxy resins are disclosed wherein the unadvanced compound and at least a portion of the advanced epoxy resin contains at least one --O--R.sup.1 --O-- or --(O--CH.sub.2 --CHR.sup.2).sub.n --O -- group as a bridge between two groups selected independently from the group consisting of (1) a saturated or unsaturated cycloaliphatic group, (2) an aromatic group, (3) a group represented by the formula ##STR1## or (4) a group represented by the formula ##STR2## Also disclosed are nucleophilic derivatives thereof, as well as curable compositions and coating compositions containing the advanced or unadvanced epoxy resins or nucleophilic modified advanced or unadvanced epoxy resins. These advanced resins and unadvanced epoxy resins provide coatings with good flexibility or formability as exhibited by good flexural or formable properties determined by reverse impact, T-bend and wedge-bend tests, chip resistance, and with good corrosion resistance and throwpower.

摘要： The subject invention pertains to thermoplastic marking compositions comprising a binder, which in turn comprise at least one homogeneous polymer. Accordingly, the subject invention provides a thermoplastic marking composition comprising: (a) from 10 to 80 weight percent of a binder, which in turn comprises: (i) from 1 to 99 weight percent of at least one homogeneous polymer; (ii) from 5 to 70 weight percent of at least one tackifier; (iii) from 0 to 10 weight percent of a polyethylene which has pendant acid functionality moieties of a non-functionalized wax; and (iv) from 0 to 20 weight percent of a plasticizer; and (b) from 20 to 90 weight percent of an inorganic filler. The subject formulations are usefully applied via spray, screed, and extrusion techniques.

摘要： An all plastic tubular drum is blow molded into the selected configuration from an extruded parison. The parison is provided with at least two spaced circumferentially extending thickened sections. These thickened sections are captured in a compression mold cavity during the blow molding cycle.
