摘要: The systems and methods described herein provide a means for obtaining an accurate localization of static/mobile portable devices with respect to static/mobile infrastructure. A real-world environment presents unique challenges when localizing a given portable tag. Measurement of various geometric properties such as distance and/or angle to given infrastructure sensor is often erroneous due to process phasing of main paths and superimposition with various multipath reflected signals. These errors are not known beforehand and vary per environmental conditions. Therefore, performing localization in such scenarios is non-trivial. The systems and methods described herein will highlight several methods and possible algorithm process flows to improve performance.

摘要: An assembly line includes a conveyor belt and an energy charging system. The energy charging system includes (i) a resonator having a TX resonator disposed along the conveyor belt and a RX resonator mounted on and transported by the conveyor belt, (ii) an impedance matching network in communication with the resonator, (iii) and an energy storage device in communication with at least one of the resonator and the impedance matching network. Vmin is a minimum voltage of the energy storage device, and Vcap is a voltage across the energy storage device measured in real time. Energy is transferred from the TX resonator to the RX resonator when the Vcap is less than Vmin of the energy storage device.

摘要: A vehicle access system having a plurality of system nodes arranged throughout a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle access system employs a communication protocol which utilizes two way ranging (TWR) and time distance of arrival (TDoA) localization processes to determine a position of a target portable device. The communication protocol selects the optimal combination of TWR and TDoA estimations, depending on a number of system nodes that are in communication range of the target portable device, to provide the greatest accuracy with the best power efficiency at the target portable device. Particularly, the communication protocol minimizes the number of messages sent and received by the target portable device, thereby improving the power efficiency thereof. Furthermore, the communication protocol schedules messages between the system nodes and target portable device so as to minimize the wake time of the target portable device, thereby further improving the power efficiency thereof.

摘要: A Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) passive vehicle access control system integrated into a vehicle and an external device to defend the system against relay attacks is provided. The system includes a location received configured to determine a current location of the system. The location of the system may be in the form of latitude and longitude, altitude, or combination thereof. The system further includes a vehicle and an external device. The location receiver may be integrated into the vehicle, the external device, or both. A processor is communicatively coupled the location receiver to any number of wireless transceivers. A comparator configured to compare the current location of both the vehicle and the external device may be optionally coupled to the location receiver and the processor. Any number of electromagnets for generating a magnetic field may be installed in the vehicle and located adjacent to the transceivers. A magnetometer of the external device measures the intensity of the magnetic field, encrypts the magnetic field with a secret magnetic key, and returns the encrypted magnetic field back to the vehicle.

摘要: A method for reprogramming a node of an electronic communication system includes transmitting a signal from a first node to a second node. The signal requests that the second node be reprogrammed. The signal includes an identification of the first node. The second node is used to broadcast the identification of the first node to other nodes in the communication system. The second node is reprogrammed only if a predetermined quantity of the other nodes confirm, based on the identification, that the first node is legitimate.
