    Abstract: Provided is a display device with high display quality. A first pixel, a second pixel provided adjacent to the first pixel, a first insulating layer, a second insulating layer over the first insulating layer, and a third insulating layer over the second insulating layer are included; the first pixel includes a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer over the first pixel electrode, and a common electrode over the first EL layer; the second pixel includes a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer over the second pixel electrode, and the common electrode over the second EL layer; the first insulating layer and the third insulating layer each contain an inorganic material; the second insulating layer contains an organic material; the second insulating layer overlaps with the side surface of the first EL layer and the side surface of the second EL layer with the first insulating layer therebetween; the second insulating layer overlaps with the common electrode with the third insulating layer therebetween; and the third insulating layer is in contact with the first insulating layer in a region not overlapping with the second insulating layer.

    Abstract: A display device capable of displaying a high-quality image is provided. The display device includes a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, and a gap. The first light-emitting element includes a first lower electrode, a first light-emitting layer over the first lower electrode, and a first upper electrode over the first light-emitting layer. The second light-emitting element includes a second lower electrode, a second light-emitting layer over the second lower electrode, and a second upper electrode over the second light-emitting layer. The first light-emitting element is adjacent to the second light-emitting element. The gap is between the first upper electrode and first light-emitting layer and the second upper electrode and second light-emitting layer. The first upper electrode includes a region projecting from a side surface of the first light-emitting layer.     Abstract: A semiconductor device that can be miniaturized or highly integrated is provided. The semiconductor device includes a first insulator; a first oxide over the first insulator; a second oxide over the first oxide; a first conductor, a second conductor, a third oxide, a fourth oxide, and a second insulator over the second oxide; a third insulator over the first conductor, the second conductor, the third oxide, and the fourth oxide; a fourth insulator over the second insulator; and a third conductor over the fourth insulator. The second insulator is positioned between the first conductor and the second conductor. The third oxide is positioned between the first conductor and the second insulator. The fourth oxide is positioned between the second conductor and the second insulator. The thickness of the fourth oxide between the second conductor and the second insulator is greater than or equal to 3 nm and less than or equal to 8 nm.

    Abstract: To provide a display device that is suitable for increasing in size. To provide a display device in which display unevenness is suppressed. In a display device, a plurality of display panels are arranged to partly overlap one another. In two of the overlapping display panels, a display panel positioned on the display surface side includes a region transmitting visible light that is adjacent to a display portion, and the region transmitting visible light overlaps with a pixel of a display panel positioned on the lower side. Furthermore, in at least a display portion of the display panel placed on the lower side, an aperture ratio of the pixel overlapping with the region transmitting visible light of the display panel on the upper side is higher than an aperture ratio of another pixel.

    Abstract: An electronic device usable in a manner similar to reading a book and a novel electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes flexible first to n-th display panels (n is a natural number of 4 or more) and an shaft. The first to n-th display panels each include a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The first and second surfaces are provided with the first and second display portions, respectively. The shaft includes an operating circuit, to which the first to n-th display panels are electrically connected. The first display panel and the second display panel nearest to the first display panel are fixed to the shaft so that an angle formed by straight lines connecting a portion where the first display panel projects from the shaft and the center of the shaft and connecting a portion where the second display panel projects from the shaft and the center of the shaft is (360/n)° in a cross-sectional view along a plane orthogonal to an extending direction of the shaft.
