Abstract: A damper is provided with a vehicle height control unit including: a jack housing of a hydraulic jack provided at an upper end portion of a vehicle body side tube such that a plunger which defines a jack chamber is fitted on the jack housing so as to be movable up and down; a suspension spring provided between the plunger and a wheel side tube; and a pump housing provided in an upper end portion of a damper cylinder and forming a pump chamber in a hydraulic pump such that a pump pipe forming a part of a piston rod and communicating with an oil chamber in the damper cylinder is slidably inserted into the pump chamber.

Abstract: A vehicle height control device comprises a vehicle height control unit including a jack housing of a hydraulic jack provided at an upper end portion of an inner tube, a suspension spring provided between an upper end of a hollow pipe and a plunger of the hydraulic jack, a pump housing provided at the plunger of the hydraulic jack and forming a pump chamber of a hydraulic pump, and a pump pipe communicating with an oil reservoir chamber on an inner periphery of the hollow pipe and slidably inserted into the pump chamber in the pump housing, and a selector valve controlling the vehicle height by adjusting the amount of hydraulic oil fed to a jack chamber in the hydraulic jack by the hydraulic pump that performs the pumping operation in conjunction with extending and contracting motion of the hollow pipe with respect to the inner tube.

Abstract: A valve mechanism includes: a cylindrical body; a plurality of valve bodies; and a drive valve. The drive valve includes a shaft portion having therein a flow path penetrating in the axial direction, and a step portion extending from an outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion to a radial outside of the shaft portion. Abstract: A vehicle height adjustment apparatus according to one embodiment includes a spring, a spring-length changing unit, a first valve, a control valve and a second valve. The spring-length changing unit changes a length of the spring in accordance with an amount of oil in a jack chamber that accommodates the oil. The first valve opens and closes a first communication path in which the oil supplied from a pump is oriented toward a reservoir chamber that stores the oil. The control valve opens and closes a discharge flow path oriented toward the reservoir chamber from a chamber that accommodates the oil to close the first valve. The second valve opens and closes a second communication path in which the oil supplied from the pump is oriented toward the jack chamber when the first valve is closed.

Abstract: A stroke sensor system includes a vehicle-body-side member, a wheel-side member, and a movement-amount deriving section. The movement-amount deriving section derives a movement amount of relative movement between the vehicle-body-side member and the wheel-side member. At least a part of one of the vehicle-body-side member and the wheel-side member is a conductor, and the other is provided with a coil. The movement-amount deriving section includes an even number of capacitors and an even number of exciting sections. The even number of capacitors are electrically coupled to the coil and configure an LC resonance section. The even number of exciting sections are for exciting an oscillation waveform output by the LC resonance section. The even number of capacitors and the even number of exciting sections are divided into equal numbers to configure a balanced circuit. The movement-amount deriving section derives the movement amount based on the oscillation waveform.

Abstract: A vehicle height adjustment device includes a spring. An adjustor includes an accommodation chamber accommodating a fluid to adjust a length of the spring based on the fluid amount in the accommodation chamber. A storage chamber stores the fluid. A pump includes a cylinder that takes in the fluid in the storage chamber when a distance between a vehicle body and a vehicle wheel increases, and that discharges the fluid when the distance decreases. A passage switch unit switches among a first state in which the fluid discharged from the pump is guided into the accommodation chamber to increase the fluid amount in the accommodation chamber, a second state in which the fluid in the accommodation chamber is guided into the storage chamber to decrease the fluid amount, and a third state in which the fluid amount is maintained.
