    摘要: To offer a suspension apparatus for a vehicle with high utility, a suspension apparatus having a damping-force generating device which includes a body-side unit attached so as to project upward from a mount portion formed at a part of the vehicle is provided with a projecting-portion-displacement permitting mechanism for permitting a displacement of at least a projecting portion such that an amount of projection of the projecting portion decreases. The projecting-portion-displacement permitting mechanism is configured as follows, for instance. In a structure in which a downward movement of the body-side unit is prohibited by a pin of a solenoid, the solenoid is energized and the pin is withdrawn, thereby releasing the prohibition of the movement of the body-side unit. In consequence, the body side-unit is permitted to move downward. The mechanism increases a distance between an upper end of the damping-force generating device and a hood disposed above the mount portion, so that an impact applied to the hood from above can be effectively mitigated utilizing a space between the upper end of the damping-force generating device and the hood in which the distance therebetween is increased.

    摘要: The hydraulic suspension system comprises a suspension mechanism for a traveling vehicle body, a suspension reference position variation mechanism for varying a reference position of a suspension stroke of the suspension mechanism, and a stopped state detector for detecting a state in which operation of the suspension mechanism has stopped. The control management unit controls the suspension reference position variation mechanism so that when operation of the suspension mechanism is detected by the stopped state detector to be in a stopped state, the operation of the suspension mechanism moves toward a target range, in preference to control based on a suspension stroke position obtained from a suspension stroke position sensor.

    摘要: A motorcycle with a disk brake device and an anti-dip device for improving the external appearance of the front forks and for simplifying the fixing of the hoses. A single hose includes a hydraulic passage k extending from a secondary master cylinder and one end of the hose is connected to one opening of a three-way opening coupling fixed to the front forks. One end of a single hose is supported by the secondary master cylinder and the other end is supported by the three-way opening coupling. Thus the hose clamps may be omitted, the number of components is conspicuously reduced and the arrangement is simplified. In comparison to extending two hoses from the secondary master cylinder, only a single hose is extended according to the present invention. Thus, the handling of the hoses is simplified and the outer appearance near the front forks is improved.
