    摘要: A drive circuit of an active matrix type organic EL display panel includes a plurality of current drive circuits provided correspondingly to data lines or column pins of the display panel, a plurality of pixel circuits, each of which includes a capacitor and an organic EL element, and a write control circuit. The current drive circuit includes an output pin connected to the data line or the column pin and generates a current for charging the capacitor to a predetermined voltage through the data line or the column pin and a current for initially charging the organic EL element. The write control circuit performs a write control for storing the voltage in the capacitor and a resetting control for of the capacitor written with the voltage.

    摘要: A successive approximation analog/digital ("A/D") converter that converts an analog input voltage to a digital value for output in a manner enabling a reduction in power consumption. The A/D converter includes a comparator that outputs a referencing result signal by comparing an analog input voltage against a reference voltage. A D/A converter outputs the reference voltage to a comparator in correspondence to a digital voltage signal. A successive approximation register outputs the digital voltage signal to the D/A converter in correspondence to a conversion control signal. A conversion control device outputs the conversion control signal to the successive approximation register in correspondence to the referencing result signal to continue operation of the AND converter until the difference between the analog input voltage and the reference voltage converges to within a specific tolerance range. An output unit holds the digital voltage signal from the successive conversion register at a point in time at which the difference has converged to within the tolerance range and outputs the digital voltage signal as a digital output signal. An operating mode selection circuit judges an effective/non-effective state of the analog input voltage, enables an A/D conversion operation by entering a conversion mode when the analog input voltage is judged to be effective, and disables the A/D conversion operation by entering a standby mode when the analog input voltage is judged to be non-effective.

A monitor flag from the monitor circuit is supplied to a switching signal input terminal of the multiplexer via a line. An output line of the multiplexer is provided to a subsequent circuit using the system clock signal while the output line of the oscillation circuit B is provided to the subsequent circuits such as a time-count circuit.

    摘要: A device for detecting the air-fuel ratio in an engine comprises a limiting current type air-fuel ratio sensor 20, an air-fuel ratio sensor circuit 30, a detecting means 40, a determining means 50 and a correcting means 60. The air-fuel ratio sensor 20, which is arranged in an exhaust system of the engine 10, generates an electric current when a voltage is applied thereto and is made from solid electrolyte. The sensor circuit 30 applies a voltage to the sensor 20 within a range of the limiting current, detects a concurrent limiting current and outputs a signal proportional to the magnitude of the detected current. The detecting means 40 detects a change in the voltage output from the sensor circuit 30 when the voltage applied to the sensor 20 is changed from a voltage within the range of the limiting current to a voltage outside the range of the limiting current a predetermined time after the engine 10 is started. The determining means 50 determines whether the change in output voltage of the sensor circuit 30 is less than a predetermined and correcting means 60 corrects an output error of the sensor circuit 30 based on the voltage output from the sensor circuit 30 when it is determined that the output voltage change is less than the predetermined value.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method of controlling the air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture to be supplied to an internal combustion engine by the selective use of either one of a feedback control mode in which the control is made to maintain the air-fuel ratio at the stoichiometric level and a lean control mode in which the control is made to maintain at the leaner side of the stoichiometric level in accordance with the state of operation of the engine. In this method, the execution of the control in the lean control mode is prohibited for a predetermined period of time during acceleration of the engine at least when the speed of vehicle mounting the engine is below a predetermined speed, and the air-fuel ratio control is made in the feedback control mode in the period of time. Consequently, the period of engine operation in the lean control mode is maximized without impairing the driveability of the engine particularly when the engine is accelerated from low speed. Disclosed also is an apparatus suitable for carrying out this method.

    摘要: An organic EL display device having an organic EL drive circuit has a reference current generation circuit that switches the column line drive in response to changing of the dot arrangement of R, G and B through changeover switch circuits. Three D/A converter blocks constituted by a plurality of switch circuits and a plurality of output side transistors of a current mirror circuit are provided to produce reference currents for R, G and B that are selectively switched by a first, a second and a third changeover switch circuit. As a result, the D/A converter blocks corresponding to the respective terminal pins dynamically produce drive currents for the respective terminal pins so as to correspond to the dot arrangement of R, G and B on the organic EL panel.
