摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide A laser device of long life. In the laser device, light source is housed in transparent cooling vessel, and the vessel is filled with a cooling liquid which is circulated. The electrodes of the light source project out of the cooling vessel. Reflectors are provided outside the cooling vessel. The electrodes and the reflectors are out of contact with the cooling liquid. It is another object of the present invention to stabilize laser oscillation. A light source is housed in a first transparent cooling vessel. The first cooling vessel is filled with a first cooling liquid. A laser medium is housed in a second transparent cooling vessel. The second cooling vessel is filled with a second cooling liquid. A heat insulation layer is provided between the first and the second cooling vessels so that the first and the second cooling liquids are thermally insulated from each other.

摘要: A work carrier includes a movable clamp unit (15) having resiliently connected first and second sliders (26, 27) mounted on a guide rail (24), a lock lever (37) mounted on the second slider and normally urged in a direction to move a toothed portion (41) into meshing engagement with a rack (25), an operating lever (46) pivotally mounted on the second slider, and a cam mechanism (43, 38, 44, 45) operable in response to pivotal movement of the operating lever in one direction such that the second slider is locked in position against movement relative to the guide rail via meshing engagement between the toothed portion and the rack and, subsequently, the first slider and clamp member carried thereon are forcibly displaced away from the second slider while the second slider remains locked on the guide rail.

摘要: The invention relates to an optical computing element for use in an optical computer utilizing computing light rays having a plurality of wavelength components. The optical computing element comprises a photo-chemical hole burning element which functions as a wavelength selecting filter of the computing light rays. Therefore, the optical computer using the photo-chemical hole burning element of the invention can perform arithmetic operations by taking advantage of differences in optical wavelength. The computer can efficiently perform bulky arithmetic processing, and can also speedily perform arithmetic operations through simultaneous parallel processing for information.

摘要: Because it is possible to cool down a column member at a higher speed than natural cooling, throughput can be improved further. Especially, when the tubular body M42 and the column part M43 are made of different metals and the column part M43 is pressed into the tubular body M42, a distortion will occur in the column member M42 and M43 and the top board M41 fixed to the column member M42 and M43 due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficients between them, but the cooling paths P1 and P2 can absorb a distortion caused by the difference in thermal expansion coefficients of these metals. In particular, when the top board M41 is used as a mold for resin molding, it is possible to perform resin molding precisely because distortion caused by the difference in thermal expansion coefficients does not easily occur.
