    摘要: A vibration control apparatus detects a physical value influencing characteristics of a suspension supporting a vibrating body and a state value representing movement of the suspension, calculates an optimal target control force in consideration of an external force or disturbance acting on the suspension on the basis of the physical and state values as outputs from a state detecting system, calculates the detection control force corresponding to the detected physical value, and continuously variably controls the suspension characteristics so as to generate a control force corresponding to the difference between the target and detection control forces in consideration of the external force or disturbance acting on the suspension, whereby vibrations are prevented by equivalently applying the target control force on the suspension.

    摘要: This invention relates to a cargo-handling vehicle equipped with a cargo-handling apparatus and having a single power plant adapted to commonly drive a hydraulic pump for driving and a hydraulic pump for cargo-handling. A driving command signal in the form of an analog or digital electric signal output from a driving operation device in response to the operated amount thereof is output to first conversion means. The first conversion means converts the driving command signal or the operated amount of the driving operation device to power plant revolution data for driving which is determined by the preset function, and then outputs the data to selection means. A cargo-handling command signal in the form of an analog or digital electric signal output from a cargo-handling operation device in response to the operated amount thereof is output to second conversion means. The second conversion means converts the cargo-handling command signal or the operated amount of the cargo-handling operation device to power plant revolution data for cargo-handling which is determined by the preset function, and then outputs the data to the selection means. The selection means selects at least one of the data and then outputs the selected data to control means for regulating the speed of the power plant. The control means regulates the power plant speed in accordance with the input data.

    摘要: A system for controlling engine speed for a vehicle such as a fork-lift. The system has an accelerator pedal for controlling an engine speed, and a control lever for controlling the direction of movement of the vehicle, or the system is provided with a seesaw type accelerator pedal for controlling the engine speed and the direction of movement of the vehicle.An EXNOR gate is provided for detecting deceleration of the engine while the accelerator pedal is depressed. When deceleration is detected, the throttle valve is returned to an engine idling position or the supply of fuel is cut. Thus, an effective engine braking can be obtained when the direction of movement of the vehicle is changed while the accelerator pedal is depressed.A window comparator is provided for detecting the area near the end of deceleration, so that the engine speed is increased prior to the commencement of acceleration.

    摘要: A novel method of producing charcoal. The method of producing charcoal comprises treating an organic material with iodine followed by the carbonization treatment. The organic material is desirably an organic material stemming from the biomass. The treatment with iodine is desirably conducted by bringing an iodine vapor into contact with the organic material. Further, the treatment with iodine is desirably conducted by heating a container which contains the organic material and iodine. The temperature in the treatment with iodine is desirably in a range of not lower than 50° C. but not higher than a decomposition temperature of the organic material. Further, the carbonization treatment is desirably a heat treatment conducted in an inert gas atmosphere or in vacuum.
