    摘要: A system for controlling engine speed for a vehicle such as a fork-lift. The system has an accelerator pedal for controlling an engine speed, and a control lever for controlling the direction of movement of the vehicle, or the system is provided with a seesaw type accelerator pedal for controlling the engine speed and the direction of movement of the vehicle.An EXNOR gate is provided for detecting deceleration of the engine while the accelerator pedal is depressed. When deceleration is detected, the throttle valve is returned to an engine idling position or the supply of fuel is cut. Thus, an effective engine braking can be obtained when the direction of movement of the vehicle is changed while the accelerator pedal is depressed.A window comparator is provided for detecting the area near the end of deceleration, so that the engine speed is increased prior to the commencement of acceleration.

    摘要: A throttle-valve control apparatus is provided for allowing switching from an ordinary-combustion state to an AR-combustion state or vice versa to take place with ease in an AR-combustible spark-ignition two-cycle engine wherein, at least during a light-load operation, a compression-start pressure is properly controlled in order to let fresh air in a combustion chamber self-ignite so as to undergo active thermal atmosphere combustion. A throttle drum is linked to a throttle grip through a wire. The throttle drum is also linked to a throttle valve through a linking mechanism. An arm forms a single body with the throttle drum. An adjustment screw is fixed at the end of the arm. A cam is supported at such a location that the cam can be brought into contact with the adjustment screw. A pulley forms a single body with the cam. A cable which is wound around the pulley is linked to a throttle-valve servo motor. In ordinary combustion ignited by spark ignition, the cam is erected, preventing the throttle opening rate .theta..sub.th of the throttle valve from decreasing to a value smaller than, typically, 17%.

A secondary air supply system is controlled with a microprocessor which controls other circuits such as the vehicle ignition circuit. Sensors provide outside air temperature data, internal pressure and engine rpm to the microprocessor. The microprocessor addresses the memory based on a computation including these sensed values. The memory in turn controls valves in a secondary air supply system.
