摘要: A master provides a byte length of a frame in a certain position of the frame. The master also provides an error detection code in the final byte. After sending the final byte, the master monitors whether or not a negative acknowledgement is received. If a negative acknowledgment is received, the master transmits a dummy byte and then sends a stop condition. A slave counts the number of received bytes and compares the number of received bytes with the byte length of the frame. If the number of received bytes is larger than the byte length of the frame, the slave recognizes negative acknowledgement.

摘要: In a microreactor, a groove is formed by a first substrate (11) and an intermediate substrate (12) layered on the first substrate (11), and an opening of the groove is closed by a second substrate (13) serving as a lid member to form a micro channel in which fluids flow. The intermediate substrate (12) comprises a channel area (120) including a through hole forming part of the micro channel and a plate-like connecting portion (122) which is thinner than parts on both sides of the channel area (120), for connecting the parts on both sides in a predetermined position of the micro channel in a longitudinal direction. In the microreactor, it is possible to easily handle the intermediate substrate (12) as one member in forming and handling the intermediate substrate (12) and simplify a process of manufacturing the microreactor.

摘要: A device for separating a transfer paper, onto which a toner image has been electrostatically transferred from the surface of a photosensitive member, from the surface of the photosensitive member. A separator roller made of an electrically conducting material is disposed close to the photosensitive member. A spacer assures that an appropriate gap is maintained between the photosensitive member and the separator roller. A voltage source which applies an AC voltage or a pulse voltage to the separator roller. The frequency of the applied voltage is selected to be from 200 Hz to 1 KHz or at 20 KHz or higher, and the voltage level can be controlled as a function of the separator roller temperature and/or moisture level or humidity.

摘要: A shift mechanism in a manual transmission which may reduce an inertial revolution of a counter shaft system by applying to it a dragging resistance or a frictional force before reverse gears are meshed with each other during a reverse shifting operation to prevent a gear buzzing or a body shock, and may permit the reverse shifting operation to be smoothly carried out by releasing the dragging resistance from the counter shaft system upon completion of the reverse shifting operation.

摘要: Dual chips exchange a signal indicating a pressing load detected for providing the tactile sensation such that application processing based on the load is performed. A tactile sensation providing apparatus includes a touch sensor, a load detection unit for detecting the load on the sensor for providing the tactile sensation, a tactile sensation providing unit for vibrating a touch face of the sensor, a tactile sensation provision control unit for controlling drive of the providing unit, and a main control unit for controlling performing an operation corresponding to the load. The main control unit transmits, to the provision control unit, a load detection instruction in activation of the application and a load stop instruction in closing the application. The provision control unit starts detecting the load upon receiving the detection instruction and stops detecting the load upon receiving the stop instruction.

摘要: An interrupt control apparatus and interrupt control method reduce situations in which the output of interrupt information is suspended and thus reduce stress caused in a user, without missing the appropriate output timing for interrupt information having a high priority level. A priority level setting unit raises the value of a priority level for an interrupt voice message during a period in which the interrupt voice message is being outputted, and a voice output control unit, when interrupts from two or more overlapping interrupt voice messages occurs, carries out control in accordance with priority levels set for each of the two or more interrupt voice messages so that the interrupt voice message having the higher priority level value is preferentially outputted.

摘要: A method of continuously casting molten steel to produce high surface quality slab by preventing depressions and cracking. The steel is high Al steel having an Al content of 0.1% or more. High-Al molten steel is continuously cast using mold powder containing T—CaO (T—CaO presumes total Ca converted to CaO): 35 to 55%, SiO2: 10 to 30%, Al2O3: 4.0% or less (excluding 0%), MgO: 0.2 to 1.0%, Li2O: 7 to 13%, F: 7 to 13%, C: 10.5 to 14%, and inevitable impurities; and satisfying: 1.6≦[T—CaO]/[SiO2]≦5 and 0.2≦[Li2O]/[SiO2]≦1.1. The method is performed by controlling the molten steel surface level fluctuation speed in the mold; the pouring angle of the molten steel in the width direction of the mold; the stroke in the amplitude; and the negative strip time tN as defined.
