    摘要: A method of controlling a dual clutch transmission, a dual clutch transmission, and a vehicle equipped with the same which can reduce the load on a clutch on a start gear side to reduce the wear thereof and therefore make the clutch replacement interval longer. There are a first input shaft to be connected to a first clutch and a second input shaft to be connected to a second clutch. A set of odd-numbered gears and a set of even-numbered gears are arranged respectively across the first input shaft and second input shaft and an output shaft. When a vehicle starts, a start gear and a support gear are synchronously engaged to the second input shaft and the first input shaft, respectively, and simultaneously connecting the first clutch and the second clutch partially (half clutch state) to the first input shaft and the second input shaft, respectively, the support gear having a gear ratio smaller than that of the start gear by one speed or higher.

    摘要: If a sleeve of a double cone-type synchronizer is not smoothly engaged with a dog gear because of getting caught by the dog gear, the dog gear, as pressed by the sleeve, may lean with a spline-connecting part of the dog gear to a transmission gear as a fulcrum, so that an inner ring of a blocking ring may be damaged by being squeezed between the dog gear and a hub. However, the transmission gear includes: a tooth surface portion having tooth surfaces formed on one axial end side of the transmission gear; and a contact portion formed on the opposite axial end side, and abutting against the dog gear. The contact portion extends radially outward of a through-hole of the dog gear, thereby preventing the dog gear, as pressed by the sleeve, from leaning toward the transmission gear so as to prevent damage of the inner ring.

    摘要: An adapter module for a dual clutch transmission in a drivetrain is provided. The dual clutch transmission has a first input shaft and a second input shaft concentric with the first input shaft, a mainshaft, an output shaft, and a countershaft offset from the first and second input shafts. The countershaft is drivably connected to the first input shaft, the second input shaft, and the mainshaft. An alternative power source including an electric machine is provided for the drivetrain. An adapter module is disposed between the dual clutch transmission and the alternative power source. The adapter module has an adapter gearset connecting the electric machine to the dual clutch transmission and at least one clutch configured to (i) selectively drivingly connect the electric machine to the output shaft, and (ii) selectively drivingly connect the electric machine to the countershaft.

A reduced valley depth Rvk of the plateau portion of one of the pair of the toothed wheels as defined in JISB0671-2 is greater than the reduced valley depth Rvk of the plateau portion of the other of the pair of the toothed wheels. The area occupied by the concavities in the plateau portion of the one of the toothed wheels is larger than the area occupied by the concavities in the plateau portion of the other toothed wheel.
