In a pneumatic tire T including an adhesive sealant layer 5 disposed inward of an inner liner 4 in a region corresponding to its tread portion 1, the adhesive sealant layer 5 is formed of a laminate including: an auxiliary rubber layer 5a disposed closer to the inner liner 4, the compression set of the auxiliary rubber layer 5a being set at 40% or less; and an adhesive sealant material 5b disposed inward of the auxiliary rubber layer 5a.

摘要: Disclosed is a liquid coagulant which can be injected into the inside of a tire without removing the tire from a rim and which can prevent the scattering of a residue of a tire puncture sealing material when the tire is removed from the rim. The liquid coagulant can coagulate an emulsion that contains a natural rubber latex. The liquid coagulant comprises a urethane resin and/or an acrylic resin which has a pH value of 2.0 to 4.0 and contains a cationic functional group.

摘要: A device for recovering puncture repair liquid includes a tube to be inserted from a tire valve mounted to a wheel up to an inner surface of a tire, a container having a pair of connecting ports for receiving and containing puncture repair liquid recovered from inside the tire, and a connecting hose for connecting between the tire valve and one of the connecting ports. The other connecting port is removably attachable to a pressurized air source. A valve core is detached from a tire valve of a wheel with a tire mounted thereon into which puncture repair liquid has been injected. The tube is inserted into the tire which is filled with air from the pressurized air source that is then detached from the container. Thus, recovery of the puncture repair liquid is efficiently performed using pressure escaping from the tire without cutting out the tire valve.

摘要: Provided are a tire noise reduction device allowing rapid and reliable puncture-repair of a pneumatic tire provided with an annular sound absorbing member on the inner surface of a tread portion of the tire, and a pneumatic tire provided with the tire noise reduction device. The tire noise reduction device includes: the annular sound absorbing member made of a porous material; and a repair liquid permeable layer stacked on an outer peripheral surface of the sound absorbing member. The repair liquid permeable layer has many continuous pores and has a flow resistance lower than that of the porous material. The tire noise reduction device is mounted on the inner peripheral surface of a tread portion of the pneumatic tire.

摘要: Provided is a pneumatic tire capable of suppressing a flow of a sealant in a sealant layer due to a centrifugal force generated during the running of the tire. A pneumatic tire of the present invention is a pneumatic tire provided with a sealant layer on an inner surface of the tire in a region corresponding to a tread portion of the tire. The pneumatic tire includes a cover sheet disposed on an inner side of the sealant layer in a radial direction of the tire so as to cover the sealant layer. In the pneumatic tire, a mass per unit area of a center portion of the cover sheet is made larger than a mass per unit area of outer portions of the cover sheet. A width of the cover sheet may be made smaller than a width of the sealant layer.

摘要: The present invention provides a run-flat support body and a tire/wheel assembly whose weights can be respectively reduced. The run-flat support body includes an annular shell and elastic rings, the annular shell having an outer peripheral side as a support surface and an inner peripheral side formed in fork-shaped open legs, the elastic rings being attached respectively to the legs portions of the annular shell, and the elastic rings being designed to be mounted on a rim of a wheel. The annular shell is formed of a porous structural material having fine voids. The run-flat support body is attached to an inside of a pneumatic tire mounted on the rim of the wheel.

摘要: The present invention provides a tire/wheel assembly and a run-flat support member. A pneumatic tire is fitted to a wheel rim; and the run-flat support member constituted of a circular shell and elastic rings is inserted into a cavity of the pneumatic tire, in which the circular shell has a support surface thereof extended toward the periphery of the tire and leg portions along each side of the support surface, and the elastic rings support the leg portions of the circular shell on the rim. In the tire/wheel assembly, the leg portion of the circular shell is formed to have a sidewall extending in a shell radial direction and a bottom wall that is substantially parallel to a shell axial direction. The elastic ring is attached to the sidewall of the leg portion while being abutted on the bottom wall of the same without an engagement.
