    摘要: Base stations and Radio Network Controllers, RNCs, and methods in such devices are disclosed. A base station (18) sends access indications to a RNC (20) indicating assignments and/or releases of common uplink resources. The RNC (20) uses the access indications received from the base station (18) to differentiate between successive accesses on the common uplink resources by a same User Equipment, UE (22), and to correspondingly differentiate between the processing of given data frames from the UE (22) as belonging to one or other of the successive accesses.

    摘要: Example embodiments presented herein are directed towards a Radio Network Controller (RNC) (400) and a radio network node (101, 201), for example a eNodeB and/or a wireless terminal, and corresponding methods therein, for establishing a radio link without a DPCH/F-DPCH. The establishment of such a radio link may be provided by the RNC sending an indication to the radio network node. The indication may be in the form of a message type, a cause code, instructions or an IE comprising an absence of a DPCH/F-DPCH configuration. The communication message may comprise an indication to establish the radio link with only an E-HICH or both a E-HICH and a E-RGCH.

A first notifying unit is configured to notify the first cell that it is a primary radio link participating in the multipoint transmission.

    摘要: A method in a network node for sending a pilot power value in a heterogeneous mobile communications network. The heterogeneous mobile communications network comprises a second set of base station nodes selected to operate in a Multiple Input Multiple Output, MIMO, -mode. The second set of base station nodes share a cell identity and are deployed within a coverage area. The network node computes (802) a pilot power value to be applicable when one or more mobile devices in the coverage area evaluates receipt of one or more Secondary Common Pilot Channels, S-CPICH, from a transmitter in said second set of base station nodes, wherein the computing is based on a measure indicative of a transmission power of the second set of base stations. The network node sends a signal to a radio network controller. The signal comprises the computed pilot power value, and enables the one or more mobile devices to be configured for MIMO operation.

    摘要: Techniques for supporting concurrent deployment of 2-millisecond and 10-millisecond TTI for E-DCH transmissions in CELL_FACH state and Idle Mode are disclosed. One example method comprises receiving a transport block from a mobile terminal, wherein said transport block is transmitted using either a 10-millisecond or 2-millisecond TTI, and sending, to an RNC, an indication of whether data carried by the transport block was transmitted using the 10-millisecond TTI or the 2-millisecond TTI. In some embodiments, the indication is sent in a user plane frame sent over a base-station-to-RNC interface. A spare bit in an uplink data frame sent to the RNC may be used, for example.
