Abstract:
An apparatus maintains a segregated database in a multiple distributed ledger system. The apparatus includes a storage device that stores software instructions for controlling a processor that when executed by the processor configure the processor to: create distributed ledgers, each created distributed ledger being associated with a respective individual profile; maintain a segregated database apart from the distributed ledgers including, for each individual profile, profile balance data; and process a data exchange between exchanging profiles. To process the data exchange, the processor is configured to receive data exchange data regarding parameters of the data exchange; approve the data exchange based on a check of the data exchange data against profile balance data in the database; access the distributed ledgers associated with the exchanging profiles; and cause a distributed ledger data exchange corresponding to the data exchange to be added to the accessed distributed ledgers when the data exchange is approved.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments include methods and systems for providing context-based event determination and/or context-based event triggered financial product offerings. Scenario modeling data is maintained for a plurality of personal event scenarios. Personal event data representing a personal spike for a user of a client device is received from one or more computer systems over a network where the personal spike comprises an instance of personal event data that deviates from a baseline of personal event data determined for the user. Contextual data related to the personal event data is collected from one or more computers. Using the scenario modeling data, contextual data and the personal event data identifying the at least one personal spike, likely personal event scenarios consistent with the contextual data are identified. Methods and systems to establish a personal baseline from instances of personal event data are also described.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments include computer-implemented systems and processes that perform operations consistent with services provisioned to a device based on real-time sensor data indicative of and characterizing a user's operation of the device and additionally or alternatively, a system or apparatus that includes the device. For example, the device may obtain stored data identifying a provisioned service, and may obtain sensor data captured by an on-board or external sensor during an operation of the device. Based on the sensor data, the device may generate a usage parameter that characterizes the operation of the device during a temporal period, and perform an operation consistent with the provisioned service in accordance with the generated usage parameter.
Abstract:
Methods and devices for provisioning a secure application on an electronic device with first issuer data for a first issuer are described. In an embodiment, the provisioning system receives and stores first issuer records. The example provisioning system receives a provisioning request to provision the secure application with the first issuer data. The provisioning request includes identifying information. The example provisioning system evaluates the provisioning request based on at least one of the first issuer evaluation criteria, the first issuer records and the identifying information in the provisioning request. When the provisioning request satisfies the first issuer evaluation criteria, the example provisioning system generates a signal using the communication module to provide the first issuer data to the electronic device to provision the secure application on the electronic device.
Abstract:
A method for authenticating a wearable device is disclosed. The method includes: receiving, a signal representing an indication that the wearable device is in active use; in response to receiving the signal, updating a device database to associate a first status with the wearable device; receiving, from a tokenization service provider (TSP), a signal representing a first code derived by the TSP from decrypting a security token previously provisioned in the wearable device, wherein the security token was received at a terminal from the wearable device and transmitted to the TSP; obtaining, based on the received first code, a device identifier of the wearable device and an identifier of an account; querying the device database to verify that the wearable device is associated with the first status; verifying that the account is enabled for an operation initiated using the wearable device; and transmitting an authorization message to the terminal, the authorization message authorizing the operation.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods that generate secured distributed storage ledger structures, such as block-chain-based ledger structures, that facilitate event-based control of tracked assets. In one embodiment, an apparatus associated with a centralized authority of the secured distributed storage ledger may detect an occurrence of a triggering event, and may access and decrypt a set of rules hashed into the secured distributed storage ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may identify a rule associated with the detected event, and perform one or more operations consistent with the rule and involving at least one of assets tracked within the secured distributed storage ledger or an owner of a portion of the tracked assets.
Abstract:
A device has a secure element including a memory that stores at least one address, a set of rules, and a state of an asset. A processor is configured for receiving a request to change the state of the asset associated with the address, validating the request in the case where changing the state of the asset according to the request complies with the set of rules, and invalidating the request in the case where changing the state of the asset according to the request violates the set of rules. A communications module is coupled to the secure element for transmitting information responsive to the request to a distributed network of peer processors for recording a change in the state of the asset in a distributed electronic ledger in the case where the secure element validates the request.
Abstract:
A method and system are provided for processing an interaction request. The method includes detecting the interaction request for a first interaction session using a first interaction channel between a request initiator and a request service provider, assigning an identifier to the interaction request, determining a task associated with the interaction request, and obtaining context data of a plurality of other interaction sessions associated with the identifier. The plurality of other interaction sessions occur proximal in time with the first interaction session. The context data is related to activity of the request initiator. The method also includes associating a subset of the context data with the interaction request. The subset of the context data is the context data of the plurality of other interaction sessions that are related to the task. The method also includes facilitating the first interaction session using the subset of the context data.
Abstract:
A method and system are provided for facilitating access to electronic data. The method is executed by a processor of a computing device. The computing device includes the processor coupled to a memory, a communications module, an input device, and a display. The method includes receiving an input from the input device representing a request by a request initiator to access funds from a first source for use in a transaction, requesting and receiving, via the communications module, financial health data associated with the request initiator, determining a financial product comprising funds from a second source available to the request initiator based on the financial health data, and displaying an offer of the financial product on the display for the request initiator.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods for generating secured block-chain-based ledger data structures that track subdivide ownership and usage of one or more assets, such as Internet-connected devices. In one instance, an apparatus associated with a rules authority of the secured block-chain-based ledger may detect an occurrence of a triggering event related to at least one of partial ownership interests in the assets, and may access and decrypt a set of rules hashed into the secured block-chain-based ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may identify a rule associated with the detected event, and perform one or more operations consistent with the rule, including a generation of additional data blocks reflecting a change in at least one of the partial ownership interests, and additionally or alternatively, processes that adaptively monitor a compliance of one or more partial owners with an Imposed usage restriction.
