Abstract: A network device may determine a geographical distance between an earth station and the network device. The network device may receive a plurality of geographical distances between the earth station and a corresponding plurality of other network devices. The network device may determine location coordinate points for an exclusion zone, associated with the earth station, based on the geographical distance and the plurality of geographical distances. The network device may generate an exclusion zone system information block that includes the location coordinate points for the exclusion zone. The network device may determine a state of a user equipment associated with the network device. The network device may provide, to the user equipment, the exclusion zone system information block based on the state of the user equipment.

Abstract: A system described herein may generate a map of ground stations and associated antenna beams along a flight path. Such map generation may include assigning a unique identifier to each antenna beam and associating an absolute or relative location to each beam. As an aircraft traverses the flight path, the map may be utilized to identify candidate serving ground stations and/or candidate antenna beams, whereby a likelihood of selection may be generated for each adjacent beam to a serving beam. The likelihood of selection may be calculated based on one or more predicted flight paths and associated confidence levels of the predicted flight paths. Flight paths may be predicted based on serving beam history, pre-defined flight path, and/or other relevant factors.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide reliable voice connections and highest possible data rates in New Radio dual-connectivity environments, given limitations of available spectrum. A system includes a first wireless station and a second wireless station. The first wireless station provides a shared spectrum of a first frequency band, the shared spectrum including a first spectrum for a first cellular wireless standard and a second spectrum for a second cellular wireless standard. The second wireless station is at least partially within a coverage area of the first wireless station and provides a third spectrum for the second cellular wireless standard. The third spectrum is a millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum. The first wireless station broadcasts cell parameters barring an end device in an idle mode from camping on the second spectrum. The first wireless station or the second wireless station triggers the end device to swap to the second spectrum when a paging request for a voice call is received.

Abstract: A fixed wireless access device may include a memory configured to store instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to activate a Fifth Generation (5G) scanning mode and scan for 5G wireless signals associated with a provider that is also associated with the fixed wireless access device. The processor may be further configured to detect a 5G wireless signal associated with the provider; determine a signal strength for the detected 5G wireless signal; and generate an indication of the determined signal strength to be displayed in a user interface associated with the fixed wireless access device.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a radio access network slice and core network slice service is provided based on RAN-CN network slice pairing information.
