Abstract:
A fan assembly (10) which incorporates variable pitched blades (152), is driven by the engine of a vehicle and is used in cooling the engine. A control system (248) is provided which is responsive to at least one signal representative of an operating parameter of the engine and a second signal indicative of a desired cooling requirement to establish an efficient pitch for the blades of the fan assembly. In one embodiment, the speed of the engine is sensed and used in combination with a cooling requirement signal developed by the engine control module (205) to regulate the pitch of the fan assembly. In a second embodiment, engine charge air temperature and coolant temperature signals are utilized in establishing the desired pitch. Furthermore, fuzzy logic controls (290) can be utilized to anticipate the cooling needs of the engine based on variations in the overall dynamic system as derived from information available through the engine control module.

A mesoporous composite titanium oxide, which is composed of a mesoporous titanium oxide, the outside surface and the wall of pores of the mesoporous titanium oxide are modified by inorganic matters; inorganic matter contains at least one element selected from carbon, silicon, sulphur, phosphorus and selenium in an amount of 0.01%-25%, on amount of the element mass, of the mass of said mesoporous composite titanium oxide material; at least one mean pore size of pore distribution of the mesoporous compound titanium oxide material is 3-15 nm, the specific surface area is 50-250 m2/g, and the pore volume is 0.05-0.4 cm3/g. As a catalyst carrier, the rate of conversion of the hydrodesulfurization reaction of the material reaches as high as 98 percent, and as a lithium ion battery cathode material, the specific capacity of the lithium ion battery cathode material reaches as high as 220 mAh/g.
Abstract:
Targeted advertising is one of the major attractions of wireless handheld devices since it lends itself to focused delivery of advertisements to target groups selected based on multiple criteria. To do this it is necessary to identify the target groups from the large number of personal profile criteria that includes user profiles, demographics, response preferences, as well as the history of responses, and generating advertisements for each such group. The advertisements have to take into account the preferences of the group and the objective of the advertisement campaign. In one embodiment of the invention, target groups are identified based on preferences to define and organize advertising campaigns, resulting in personalized advertisements.
Abstract:
A cigarette lighter includes an ignition means which includes a flint supported by a resilient element, a spark producing element and a pair of side driving wheels. The two side driving wheels are rotatably covered on two end portions of the spark producing element respectively, so that the two end portions of the spark producing element are respectively inserted into the two driving sockets of the two side driving wheels while the flint upwardly extending between the two side driving wheels and urging against the spark producing element. Normally, the two side driving wheels are disengaged with the spark producing element to prevent a minor from driving the spark producing element to rotate, however in order to ignite the Cigarette lighter, an adult must apply a digital force on said side driving wheels in order to rotate said two side driving wheels to drive said spark producing element to rotate and strike against said flint to generate sparks.

Abstract:
Targeted advertisements with associated dynamic content for response and feedback embedded into the ad's header are delivered to mobile viewing devices. The mobile viewing device records a user's response to advertisements and reports it back to an ad serving platform. The ad serving platform generates user profiles that incorporate the response data. Ads are further targeted to the user according to the user's profile data to maximize the impact of the ads. The user can select the preferred format for providing advertisement feedback.
