In a pneumatically driven liquid supply apparatus comprising a circulation pump 26 or constant-volume pump 34 for supplying a washing liquid or chemical to a washing tank 20 for semiconductor wafers used during the fabrication of semiconductor devices; an electromagnetic switching valve 51 and a pressure regulator 52 that configure an air-pressure adjustment means 50 are connected to an air source 60; and air supply pipelines 41a, 41b, 41d, and 41e are each connected to the air-pressure adjustment means 50, the circulation pump 26 and the constant-volume pump 34. A leakage sensor 70 is interposed within each of the air supply pipelines 41a, 41b, 41d, and 41e between the air-pressure adjustment means 50 and the circulation pump 26 or constant-volume pump 34, so that any liquid that flows backward through the circulation pump 26 or the constant-volume pump 34 and into the air supply pipeline 41a, 41b, 41d, or 41e is detected by the leakage sensor 70. This makes it possible to prevent damage or halting of the functions of the air-pressure adjustment means due to liquid flowing into the air supply pipelines via one of the pumps.

An object of the present invention is to provide a semiconductor device having a fin-type transistor that is excellent in characteristics by forming a fin-shaped semiconductor portion and a gate electrode with high precision or by making improvement regarding variations in characteristics among elements. The present invention is a semiconductor device including a fin-shaped semiconductor portion having a source region formed on one side thereof and a drain region formed on the other side thereof, and a gate electrode formed between the source region and the drain region to surround the fin-shaped semiconductor portion with a gate insulating film interposed therebetween. One solution for solving the problem according to the invention is that the gate electrode uses a metal material or a silicide material that is wet etchable.

Furthermore, impact pressure from slit-like discharge openings (88L, 88R) and pressure of turbulent flow in groove-like uneven sections (92L, 92R) act in the vertical direction in addition to the flow of the dye solution. Thus, aggregation and association of the dye are hardly caused on a surface part of the porous semiconductor layer of the treated surface of the substrate, the dye efficiently penetrates deeply into the porous semiconductor layer, and the dye adsorption into the porous semiconductor layer proceeds at high speed.

At present, many herbicidal compositions have been developed and used, but there are a variety of types of weeds to be controlled, and their development lasts for a long period of time. Thus, a high active and long-residual herbicidal composition having a broad herbicidal spectrum has been desired.The present invention provides a synergistic herbicidal composition comprising (A) flazasulfuron or its salt and (B) at least one urea compound selected from the group consisting of tebuthiuron, diuron and metobromuron or its salt. According to the synergistic herbicidal composition of the present invention, a high active and long-residual herbicidal composition having a broad-spectrum can be provided.
