摘要： An apparatus of the present invention is a magnetic recording/reproduction apparatus for pulling out a magnetic tape from a cassette, forming a predetermined tape drive system with a group of tape guide posts while winding the magnetic tape around a rotary head cylinder, having a rotary head, for a predetermined arc, so as to perform recording/reproduction of the magnetic tape. The apparatus includes: an inclined post around which a non-magnetic side of the magnetic tape from the rotary head cylinder is wound; a rail provided integrally with a base on which the rotary head cylinder is mounted; and a tape guide post carrier which has the inclined post mounted thereon and is guided along the rail. The inclined post is a tape guide post around which the winding contact line, along which the magnetic tape contacts the tape guide post, is not perpendicular to a tape drive direction. The inclined post has a tapered tip portion whose diameter upwardly decreases, wherein an upper edge of the magnetic tape is between a base of the tapered tip portion and a tip of the tapered tip portion.

Furthermore, a loading post holding device which can considerably reduce the height of the device is provided. 摘要： A card controller receives data from a recording card via a socket. A read clock is transmitted in a main transmission wiring, and the data is transmitted in a data transmission wiring. The read clock is withdrawn from the card controller by an outgoing transmission wiring and retrieved into the card controller by an incoming transmission wiring. A transmission delay amount of the outgoing transmission wiring is equal to that of the main transmission wiring, and a transmission delay amount of the incoming transmission wiring is equal to that of the data transmission wiring. The card controller receives the data in synchronization with the read clock retrieved by the incoming transmission wiring.

摘要： An authentication communication system includes an storage medium having an area for storing digital information and an access device for reading/writing digital information from/into the area. The access device authenticates whether the storage medium is authorized according to a challenge-response authentication protocol in which scrambled access information generated by scrambling the access information which shows the area is used. The storage medium authenticates whether the access device is authorized. When the access device and the storage medium have authenticated each other as authorized devices, the access device reads/writes digital information from/into the area in the storage medium according to the access information separated from the scrambled access information by the access device.
