    摘要： A sulfonated Alpha -olefin reaction product containing less than about 8% by weight of Delta ''-alkenesulfonate, based on the total amount of alkenesulfonates in the reaction product, is prepared by (1) sulfonating Alpha -olefin, (2) allowing the product to step (1) to stand at 20* to 100*C for 1 to 5 hours under anhydrous conditions, (3) neutralizing the product of step (2), and (4) subjecting the product of step (3) to a temperature of 130* to 180*C for from 5 minutes to 2 hours.

    摘要： A method of dispersing gas in an aqueous solution, which comprises: blowing said gas into a vessel containing an aqueous solution of a surface active agent through the bottom of said vessel; transforming said gas into a foam by means of an impeller equipped above the gas-blowing nozzle; and simultaneously preventing the occurrence of turbulent flow of said solution by means of an upright cylindrical meshwork screen having the top and bottom free of meshwork, which screen surrounds the impeller and incoming gas stream, said screen being spaced from the sidewall of the vessel and extending from adjacent the position at which gas enters the vessel toward the top of the level of said solution in the vessel.

The spray nozzle has a swirl chamber constituted by a cylindrical hollow portion contiguous to a frusto-conical hollow portion communicated with a fluid outlet or orifice. The ratio A/A'' of the total sectional area A of the fluid inlets to the swirl chamber to the sectional area A'' of the cylindrical hollow portion of the swirl chamber is selected to be 0.5 to 1.0 so that the frictional resistance offered by the inner surface wall of the spray nozzle may be minimized for realizing a stable spray pattern and a uniform particle size of the atomized fluid.

    摘要： An adhesive tape sticking machine comprising an intermittent conveying device for an article and a device for sticking a segment of said adhesive tape on said article. The sticking device is provided with an adhesive tape holding reel and a turntable capable of intermittent rotation in concert with the intermittent movement of the article. The turntable has a tape-holding mechanism on its circumference as well as press arms disposed on both sides thereof in movable fashion. A cutter cuts the adhesive tape held to said tape-holding mechanism into pieces of prescribed length, and an actuating mechanism works to thrust out said press arms towards both ends of the cut piece of adhesive tape held in abeyance facing the standing article so as to press and stick said piece to the article.
