摘要: An automated system for mitigating risk from a wind farm. The automated system may include an array of a plurality of image capturing devices independently mounted in a wind farm. The array may include a plurality of low resolution cameras and at least one high resolution camera. The plurality of low resolution cameras may be interconnected and may detect a spherical field surrounding the wind farm. A server is in communication with the array of image capturing devices. The server may automatically analyze images to classify an airborne object captured by the array of image capturing devices in response to receiving the images.

The intercepting device can be used to monitor the presence of crawling arthropods and other crawling pests (such as bed bugs, ants, cockroaches, beetles, spiders, etc.), reduce pest numbers, and monitor efficacy of pest control procedures. The intercepting device includes pitfall trap surfaces that form multiple pitfall traps.

摘要: A deterrent device for delivering an electric shock to an animal, pest or bird to be deterred, having the typical components of a non-conductive base to which the electrically conductive elements are attached. Instead of the typically-used copper wire, however, the braided elements comprise smaller strands of a conductive material, such as copper, aluminum or stainless steel wire, is used and is mechanically attached to the non-conductive base. The braided elements can be mechanically attached using a simple sewing operation in which the braid is sewn to the base. Because of the mechanical attachment and the ability of the braided elements to flex in both contraction and extension, the device of this invention can be used in tight corners and other contorted locations without having the wires of the typical prior art device pull free of the base.

A delayed water spray acting as a repelling device may be activated after a sound or light emitting source has been activated. A series of repelling apparatuses may be connected together either by a wired or wirelessly connection to operate an irrigation sprinkler system when a pest is detected.

The receiver is configured to track movement of the tracking device relative to an object of danger to the wildlife. The wildlife deterrent system is configured to reduce risk of danger to the wildlife in response to movement of the wildlife within a predetermined distance from the object of danger as tracked by the receiver.

A stabilizer is provided to resist dislodgment of the infilled particulate material (22) at the edges of the runways by the thrust of jet engines and to keep the particulate material (22) in the pile elements (20) when the edges of the runways are vacuumed to remove silt.

摘要: A system to deter and repel deer or other animals from rubbing on trees or eating foliage using a modified bubble pack having first and second layers of plastic film attached together and defining a multiplicity of spaced apart, primary chambers therebetween, and an optional third layer defining a multiplicity of spaced apart secondary chambers aligned generally adjacent the primary chambers, with animal repellent within the primary chamber, and propellant within the secondary chamber that upon activation of the propellant causes the animal repellent to be expelled outward. The repellent may be liquid, gas or powder, and may be mixed with propellant in a primary chamber. In another embodiment, repellent For filingis exposed by chamber puncture. An adhesive backing may be applied to sheets of bubble pack that are rolled or cut into sheets.
