摘要: This disclosure relates to the forming of workpieces in a plurality of steps at a plurality of forming stations. The workpieces are carried by recirculating fixtures and intermittently advanced along the work stations. At the work stations, the fixtures are located and held, and a forming operation performed on the workpieces while in the fixture. The fixtures are then advanced to the next work station and the foregoing steps repeated until the workpieces are completely formed and then discharged from the fixtures.

摘要: A method and apparatus for forming metal wherein the method comprises the stops of moving finite lengths of metal along the prescribed path, stopping each length of metal at a predetermined position, moving a metal forming machine across the leading edge of the metal to form the same, moving the metal past the machine after it has cleared the metal, returning the machine to its initial position, reversing the movement of the metal along the path after it passes the machine to return it to a second predetermined position while moving a second piece of metal to the first predetermined position and repeating the moving of the machine across the trailing edge of the first piece of metal and leading edge of the second piece of metal to form the same and repeating the operation to form the leading and trailing ends of subsequently fed pieces of metal. The apparatus of the invention includes a first transfer table for moving the metal to the first predetermined position, a metal forming machine, means for moving the metal forming machine across the path of movement of the metal, and a second transfer table for moving the metal away from the machine and back toward the machine to the second predetermined position.

摘要: Carriers are suspended on vertical rails providing a cantilever support for pallets which permit a machining operation to be performed on the bottom face of a workpiece as well as the other surfaces thereof. A further novelty resides in the drive for the carriers by a single strand hollow pin conveyor chain which is bendable in a horizontal plane so that it may assume any configuration depending on the type of machining to be performed and the area which the machine is to occupy. The pallet may be movably supported on the carrier or may be fixed thereto and when movably supported, the pallet is shifted in two directions and secured in fixed position at a station. The chain has wear plates thereon and wear plates are mounted on the carrier in engagement with those on the chain which frictionally drives the carriers until one carrier is stopped as the chain continues to advance.

摘要: A conveyor for conveying good. According to one embodiment the conveyor includes a holding unit for holding or releasing the goods with respect to a conveyor belt. The holding unit includes vacuum holding means and magnetic holding means. The magnetic holding means includes at least one movable element that comprises at least one magnet or has a magnet attached thereto. The movable element is able to deactivate the magnetic holding means by distancing the magnet from the conveyor belt, and is also able to be arrange in a closed position in which the movable element blocks a vacuum conduit extending through the conveyor belt.

摘要: An uncoiling, blanking and forming method includes the steps of: 1) uncoiling a steel coil, wherein a steel strip uncoiled from the steel coil is cleaned and straightened and is fed by a pinch roller to a blanking region; 2) laser blanking, wherein the steel coil enters the blanking region, is cut by a laser cutting head by way of laser blanking to form sheets with a required shape, with waste materials falling down and being conveyed to the outside; 3) outputting the sheets, wherein the sheets pass over a magnetic telescopic belt conveyor, and then carried by means of a manipulator or a robot to a stamping process; 4) stamping forming, wherein the sheets are stamped to form workpieces; and 5) checking, wherein the workpieces are checked and put in storage. The present invention can achieve joining-up in series of a blanking line and a stamping forming line and realize matching therebetween, and can reduce intermediate steps such as stacking, packing, transportation, positioning, unpacking, carrying, and centring of sheets and stamping-formed workpieces, and also can reduce the room required for transfer, simplify the work flow and joins up procedures in series, to directly machine a material coil by laser blanking to form formed parts.
