    摘要: Longitudinal drive mechanisms are usually provided in combination with a component (17) of a machine which is mounted on a slide way to move the component along the slide way. Such mechanisms usually include a nut (2) running along a screwthreaded shaft or leadscrew (1) and any deviations from staightness or any discrepancies in the pitch of the leadscrew (1) cause extraneous or irregular movement of the component (17) along the slideway. By including a first pair of links (4) pivotally connected to the nut (2) and to a collar (3) and a second pair of links (7 and 8) pivotally connected to the collar (3) and the component (17) inaccuracies in the leadscrew (1) are absorbed by the pivoted links and so not transferred to the component (17).

    摘要: An apparatus for adjusting the relative positions of a first component and a second component of a power tool includes a drive rod which interconnects the first and second component. The drive rod has a plurality of external threads in meshing engagement with a plurality of internal threads located on one of the first and second components. An internally threaded element preferably in the form of a backlash nut is also in meshing engagement with the plurality of internal threads. A biasing member is interdisposed between the internally threaded element and one of the first and second component. In a preferred form, the apparatus is incorporated into a power tool for woodworking or metal forming and is operative for eliminating play in the threaded interconnection of the components which is most evidence upon reversal of movement of the drive rod.

The cutting tool, which is arranged on the up-and-down moving table, sets a plane formed upon rotation of the cutting tool on a plane along the back-and-forth direction of the main body base portion and is continuously rotated; back-and-forth moving table is driven in the back-and-forth direction with respect to the main body base portion, a right-and-left moving table is fixed on the back-and-forth moving table and driven in the right-and-left direction with respect to main body base portion, a holding device is arranged on the right-and-left moving table for detachably holding the work, and a measurement device is arranged on the up-and-down moving table for measuring dimensions of the workpiece in the up-and-down and right-and-left directions. In order to perform the cutting process of the workpiece held by the holding device, the moving amount in the up-and-down direction of the cutting tool, which is arranged on the up-and-down table and continuously rotated, is measured by the measurement device while the moving amount, in the right-and-left direction, of the workpiece held by the holding device on the right-and-left moving table is measured by the measurement device.

    摘要: An apparatus for positioning a sample comprises a fine adjustment stage and a coarse adjustment stage. The fine adjustment stage is held by three Z axis fine adjustment driving structures above the first base. The fine adjustment stage has a number of through holes. The fine adjustment stage is provided X and Y axes fine adjustment driving structures other than the Z axis fine adjustment driving structures. The coarse adjustment stage comprises the second base which is provided above the first base and a number of protrusions which are provided dispersively on the second base. The coarse adjustment stage is connected to X and Y axes coarse adjustment driving structures through flexible and elastic members. The sectional areas of the protrusions are selected to a size which is movable freely within the through holes, respectively. By adjusting the Z axis fine adjustment driving structures, a sample hold base is held either the coarse adjustment stage or the fine adjustment stage.

    摘要: A screw-nut feed mechanism for effecting displacement of a movable table on a guiding base or bed in accordance with rotation of a feed screw shaft mounted on the guiding base. Ther feed mechanism includes a ball nut assembly threadedly coupled with the feed screw shaft, and a floatably supporting member for floatably supporting the ball nut assembly. The floatably supporting member is composed of a board having a predetermined thickness in a direction parallel to the rotational axis of the feed screw shaft. The floatably supporting member is formed with plural slots penetrating the floatably supporting member in a direction parallel to the axis of the feed screw shaft so as to form a fixed portion, a first floating portion, first flexible connecting portions which support the first floating portion for movement relative to the fixed portion in a first direction perpendicular to the axis of the feed screw shaft, a second floating portion, and second flexible connecting portions which support the second floating portion for movement relative to the first floating portion in a second direction perpendicular to the axis of the feed screw shaft and the first axis. The ball nut assembly is secured to the second floating portion of the floatably supporting member.
