Abstract:
A container packer system includes a transfer base, which receives a container packer adapted for movement longitudinally between retracted and extended positions with respect to the transfer base. The transfer base includes a power subsystem with a motor or engine driving a hydraulic pump for powering hydraulic piston-and-cylinder units of the system, including a container packer piston-and-cylinder unit for hydraulically extending and retracting the container packer. The container packer generally encloses an interior adapted for receiving bulk material for transfer to a transport container, which can comprise a standard shipping container, a trailer or some other bulk material receptacle. The container packer includes a push blade assembly longitudinally movably mounted in its interior and actuated by a push blade piston-and-cylinder unit.
Abstract:
Aluminum belt-discharge bodies configured for installation on frames of straight truck or trailer chassis used in construction materials hauling. The use of aluminum provides substantial weight savings, which allows for an increase in the payload that can be hauled by the truck to the paving machine. The belt bodies also feature a wider unloading belt as compared to conventional steel live-bottom trucks, which increases efficiency, reduces unloading time and generates faster cycle times. The wider bottom lowers the center of gravity of the vehicle, resulting in more stability and safety. Furthermore, a wider body with sloped side walls reduces and/or eliminates the effects of transportation segregation of the asphalt or aggregate being hauled. Belt-discharge bodies according to the invention effectively remix the material being hauled as it is unloaded.
Abstract:
A belt conveyor system including an elongate housing having at least one troughing idler assembly disposed therein. The troughing idler assembly includes a center medial roller and a plurality of side rollers. Each of the rollers includes a shaft having ends supported by at least one bearing having a first face and a second face. The bearings supporting the side rollers are mounted to an exterior of the elongate housing in such a manner that the first face and the second face of at least one of the bearings are visible.
Abstract:
A fracture detection system and method for a dumbbell pin of a scraper conveyor. The system comprises a scraper conveyor, a wireless ranging apparatus (2), a wireless communication device, a support controller and a monitoring center. The wireless ranging apparatus (2) is mounted on a ramp plate ledge of a scraper conveyor chute (1), and has a laser range finder and a reflection target plate (24) for detecting a relative displacement between any two adjacent chutes. The wireless communication device realizes communication between the wireless ranging apparatus (2) and the support controller, and transmits the displacement of the laser range finder to the support controller in a wireless transmission manner. The support controller controls an action of the scraper conveyor chute (1). A monitoring center is electrically connected to the support controller, and can perform storage processing on relative displacement data of any adjacent chutes. In the method, by taking a relative displacement value between adjacent chutes as a reference, whether a fracture fault occurs in a dumbbell pin is judged, the position of the fractured dumbbell pin can be accurately determined, and a support controller controls a chute action, thereby having a high promotion and usage value.
Abstract:
An apparatus for manipulating a bulk seed box having a lower box and an upper box, the upper box defining a cavity and opposing upper and lower edges, the apparatus including a base assembly; a lift assembly mounted to the base assembly for selective raising and lowering of a clamp assembly between lower and upper positions; a clamp assembly having a gripping assembly that has at least one upper clamp tab and at least one lower clamp tab and defines clamping and released positions, the clamping position including the at least one upper and lower clamp tabs being for clamping a seed box therebetween; a swivel assembly defining a horizontal axis and being mounted to and between the lift assembly and the clamp assembly for allowing the clamp enabling to be rotated at least 180 degrees about a horizontal axis relative to the lift assembly; and a height locator assembly operable to locate the clamp assembly at a home position with the at least one upper and lower clamp tabs being horizontally aligned with respective the upper and lower edges of the upper seed box of a bulk seed box positioned proximal thereto.
Abstract:
Invention refers to the pneumatic transport field, namely to vacuum-pneumatic transportation of bulk materials of high mass concentrations through the long-distance pipelines. The invention can be used in various fields of technology, particularly when it is necessary to carry out the technological processes and transportation processes simultaneously. The device comprises at the inlet the suction pipeline with bulk material input part having vertical and horizontal sections connected to bulk material discharger. Bulk material discharger is provided with the sluice gate and vacuum gauge and connected to vacuum pump. This connection is realized through two or more vacuum receivers, interconnected in parallel by air ducts with high-speed valves so that on the one side of the receivers the air ducts are connected to suction pipe of vacuum pump, and on the other side of the receivers the air ducts are connected to the discharger.

Abstract:
Roller-guided conveyors are described herein. An example roller-guided conveyor comprises a first holder and a second holder and a first guide roller and a second guide roller. The first guide roller has a first axis of rotation and pivotally coupled to the first holder about a pivot axis that is eccentric relative to the first axis of rotation. The first guide roller is spaced a distance from the second guide roller to guide a conveyor belt therebetween.
