摘要: A method of heating and dispensing bitumen in an above-ground bitumen storage tank and bitumen terminal is that bitumen is heated. Bitumen is heated in the storage tank. Bitumen is heated in a casing installed in the tank with an intake and drainage pipe. Heated to a temperature of in-plant transportation at least 80° C. In the main storage tank volume bitumen is heated and maintained by heaters. This takes place outside the shell with the intake and drain pipe. Heating takes place at a temperature not lower than the flow temperature of 60° C.
Feed bitumen from the volume under the casing with the intake and drain pipe of the storage tank to the main volume of the working tank is carried out as the bitumen is discharged from the working tank. Bitumen in the working tank is heated in a casing installed in it with the intake and drain pipe. Bitumen is heated to a working temperature of not less than 140° C. Bitumen is heated with subsequent release to external transport or in the technological process. In the main volume of the working tank, outside the housing with the intake and drainage tube, bitumen is heated to a temperature not lower than 80° C. for in-plant transportation of bitumen. Bitumen heating is maintained by heaters.-

摘要: A road paver comprises a paving screed, a bearing block arrangement and a distributing auger. The bearing block arrangement comprises a bearing block, a cover and a heating device. The distributing auger is rotatably mounted at the bearing block for distributing paving material. The heating device is received in an accommodation space of the bearing block arrangement. The bearing block arrangement is configured to be selectively brought into a working configuration and into a removal configuration, wherein the heating device is removable from the accommodation space in the removal configuration, but not in the working configuration. At least a base part of the cover is connected to the bearing block both in the working configuration and in the removal configuration. In the working configuration, the base part of the cover at least partially covers the heating device towards a front with respect to a paving direction of the road paver.

摘要: A CIR train includes a milling machine, an asphalt cement supply tank, a mechanism for dispensing asphalt cement onto paving material that has been removed from the roadway by the milling machine, an asphalt cement pump for pumping asphalt cement from the asphalt cement supply tank into and through an asphalt cement flow circuit to the asphalt cement dispensing mechanism. A heating assembly is interposed in the asphalt cement flow circuit between the asphalt cement supply tank and the dispensing mechanism. The heating assembly includes a heater and a heat modifying component. The heater includes an asphalt cement coil that is in the asphalt cement flow circuit, and a burner that is adapted to direct hot gases of combustion across the asphalt cement coil. The heat modifying component is adapted to modulate the amount of heat transfer from the hot gases of combustion to the asphalt cement in the coil.

摘要: A working machine for conducting a roadworking operation includes a conveyor that is adapted to move roadworking material as a part of the roadworking operation. The working machine also includes a sensor which is adapted to determine if a condition exists that is indicative of the conveyor's operating under a load, and a controller which includes at least one timer. The controller is adapted to receive input information including a predetermined operating run-time for a wear part that is associated with the conveyor. The controller is also adapted to receive a signal from the sensor that a condition exists which is indicative of the conveyor's operating under load. The timer of the controller is adapted to use the signal received from the sensor to measure a period of time during which the conveyor is operating under load, and the controller is adapted to compare the measured period of time that the conveyor is operating under load with the predetermined operating run-time for the wear part. If the measured time matches the predetermined operating run-time, the controller will signal the operator that the wear part should be inspected for possible replacement, or should be replaced.

摘要: A method of paving a roadway that includes a first lane and a second lane adjacent the first lane includes applying, a first asphalt layer over the first lane of the roadway. The first asphalt layer includes a first side edge defining a portion of a joint between the first asphalt layer and a second asphalt layer. The method also includes smoothing the first asphalt layer on the first lane of the roadway, applying an additive on the first side edge to soften the first side edge, and applying the second asphalt layer over the second lane of the roadway. The second asphalt layer includes a second side edge abutting the first side edge such that the second side edge mixes with the first side edge. The first side edge and the second side edge form the joint between the first asphalt layer and the second asphalt layer.
