摘要: A transfer and dispensing apparatus is disclosed for the conveying and separation of packaging material, cushions or pillows when needed by the operator. When a packer working over a conveyor receives a box that requires void fill, an operating switch such as a foot pedal is depressed to dispense pillows from the apparatus and into the box in a connected strip. When the operating switch is released, the apparatus stops dispensing pillows, separates the continuous strip of pillows along a transverse perforation in the strip, and ejects the end of the separated segment. The packer can then complete packing the box by placing the severed end of the pillows into the box, advance to the next box, and repeat the process. The transfer and dispensing apparatus may be positioned in any convenient location including adjacent to, above or attached to the inflation device.

In the method the second drive assembly (22) is controlled based on the indicative speed difference of the second drive assembly (22) and setting a friction coefficient for determination of maximum winding force.

摘要: An apparatus and method for producing self-adhesive labels, in particular in a self-service area, for example of a drug store, is provided. The apparatus comprises a dye-sublimation thermal printer, as a printing means for printing a printing pattern onto an adhesive film, and a cutting apparatus for cutting the adhesive film along a cutting pattern, the adhesive film being moved automatically from the printing means to the cutting apparatus. Initially, only a first moving unit of the printing means moves the adhesive film at a first speed to a second moving unit of the cutting apparatus, after which both moving units move the printed adhesive film further in the forward direction.

摘要: Systems and methods for adjustable path length of print media in a dryer of a printing system. In one embodiment, the dryer includes a drum that applies heat to a web of print media. The dryer also includes first rollers positioned in an arc around the drum to define a path of travel of the web along the arc when the web is between an entrance of the dryer and the drum. The dryer further includes second rollers positioned inside the arc from the first rollers to reverse the path of travel of the web inside the arc when the web is between the drum and an exit of the dryer. A first roller and a second roller transport the web around the drum. A location of the first roller and the second roller relative to the arc defines a length of the web inside the dryer.

摘要: A method of continuous processing of flexible glass ribbon having a thickness of no more than 0.35 mm using a glass processing apparatus is provided. The method includes providing the glass processing apparatus having at least three processing zones including a first processing zone, a second processing zone and a third processing zone. The flexible glass ribbon is continuously fed from the first processing zone, through the second processing zone to the third processing zone. Rate of the flexible glass ribbon is controlled through each of the first processing zone, second processing zone and third processing zone using a global control device. The second processing zone has a conveyance path for the flexible glass ribbon through a cutting zone having a radius of curvature of from about 100 inches to about 400 inches.

摘要: A component supply device loaded with a component supply tape for exposing and supplying an electronic component from the component supply tape with respect to a component mounting device mounting the electronic component on a substrate includes a replenishing unit performing replenishment of a new component supply tape when a preceding component supply tape is exhausted and a sensor senses exhaustion of the preceding component supply tape while a confluent portion where a channel for the preceding component supply tape and a channel for the new component supply tape join with each other is formed between the sensor and the replenishing unit. A buckling prevention mechanism moves in response to an operation of the preceding component supply tape or the new component supply tape for preventing buckling when the new component supply tape is transported to the component supply device by the replenishing unit is arranged on the confluent portion.
