    摘要: A method and to a device for conveying planar products (12), particularly folded printed products. At a transfer point (A), the products (12) are inserted with the leading edges (14) thereof ahead into compartments (22) of a revolving system (20) in the form of a paddle wheel, the compartments moving along a closed revolving path (U), and removed from the compartments (22) at a transfer point (B) by way of grippers (32) of a gripper conveyor (30) and conveyed away. The products are seized by the grippers (32) at the trailing edges (16). The seizing of the trailing edge (16), which preferably is not the folded open product edge, has the advantage that it can be implemented without a complicated engagement of the revolving system (20) and gripper conveyor (30) and that the further conveyance and further processing of the products (12) are simplified.

    摘要: The register insertion apparatus for sheet-fed embossing machines with position sensors (S1, S2, S3) for detecting printing marks (P1, P2, P3) of a sheet (5), comprises a register plate (15) capable of being pivoted down as feeder table with ventilation openings (20) and vacuum feed lines (21) to a suction apparatus (22) and front stops (12), which are capable of being lowered and actuators (L1, L2, L3) for positioning the register plate in X-direction and in Y-direction. With a register controller (11) the register plate (15) is pivoted down, a gripper bar (8) is brought up to it, the register plate pivoted up again, then a sheet (5) is fed-in and stopped at the front stops (12). Thereupon the register plate is evacuated for sucking on and fixing the sheet on the register plate. Then the positions of the printing marks (P1, P2, P3) are detected by the position sensors, from this the register correction values (X1, X2, Y3) are calculated and the register plate by means of the actuators (L1, L2) in X-direction and by means of the actuator (L3) in Y-direction is moved into the desired position (P1S, P2S, P3S). Then the sheet is gripped by the gripper bar, the register plate (15) is ventilated and the sheet is transported on by the gripper bar. This results in an automatic register correction at high machine speeds and with the highest print quality.

    摘要: A sheet punching and embossing machine has a gripper carriage and a positioning device for the gripper carriage. The gripper carriage has grippers for clamping sheets, being fixed with limited springing to a transport chain and, by the transport chain, being movable intermittently between the processing stations. The machine further has at least one stop face on its leading side in the running direction. The positioning device contains at least one stop that can be pivoted into the movement path of the gripper carriage and is fixed to a driven pivoting shaft. A pivoting drive of the stop used being at least one electrically operated, controllable servomotor, which is connected directly to the pivoting shaft.

    摘要: An independent motor/reductor drives a conveyance device that feeds a converting press. The converting press includes a number of stations including a feeding station, a converting station, a waste stripping station and a delivery station. The conveyance device services the stations and includes two endless gripper bar chains to convey sheet material through the converting press. A transverse drive shaft drives the conveyance device under the control of the independent motor/reductor. The independent motor/reductor provides motion trajectories for the conveyance device that are independent of, but synchronized with, the serviced stations. The arrangement improves throughput, reduces machine wear and results in a simplified design.
