摘要: A method includes covering ostai of branch vessels emanating from a main vessel and an aneurysm with a high metal to vessel ratio stent. A metal to vessel ratio of the high metal to vessel ratio stent is sufficiently high to encourage tissue ingrowth around the high metal to vessel ratio stent yet is sufficiently low to ensure perfusion of the branch vessels through the high metal to vessel ratio stent. The ingrowth of tissue provides secure fixation and sealing of the high metal to vessel ratio stent to the main vessel and remodels and essentially eliminates the aneurysm. Further, as the entire high metal to vessel ratio stent is permeably, the high metal to vessel ratio stent is deployed without having to rotationally position the high metal to vessel ratio stent.

摘要: This device (10) includes an implant (20) which has a tubular endoprosthesis (30) with a radially deployable framework (36). The implant (20) includes a flexible interposition member (24) mounted movably on the endoprosthesis (30) so as to be interposed between the outer surface (40) and a blood circulation conduit (14). The device (10) includes a deployment tool (26) which can adopt a configuration for insertion of the implant (20) and a configuration for release of the implant (20). In the configuration for insertion of the implant (20), the flexible member (24) includes at least one free part (68) held axially away from the outer surface (40) in order to minimize the radial dimension of the implant (20). The free part (68) is at least partly displaceable against the outer surface (40) when the tool (26) moves from its configuration for insertion to its configuration for release.

摘要: The invention is directed to a delivery system for delivering a medical device. The delivery system includes an inner member having a proximal end and a distal end. The inner member defines a longitudinal axis between the proximal end and the distal end. A tip is formed at the distal end of the inner member. A bumper is freely disposed on the inner member. The bumper has a proximal end and a distal end. A seat is defined between the tip and the distal end of the bumper. Additionally, a sheath is disposed about the inner member, the sheath having a proximal end and a distal end. The sheath is movable from a first sheath position substantially covering the seat, and a second sheath position axially offset to expose the seat. The invention also includes a handle in contact with the proximal end of the inner member.

摘要: Delivery systems for delivering and deploying expandable intraluminal medical devices within a body vessel are provided. A portion of the delivery system that includes the expandable intraluminal medical device orients itself about an axis based on characteristics of the body vessel, such as the relative orientation of major and minor axes of the vessel. This allows the intraluminal medical device to be deployed in the vessel in a desired orientation relative to the vessel. Embodiments can be used with any suitable intraluminal medical device, including valve devices, stents, drug-coated stents, filters, and other suitable devices. Methods of delivering and deploying intraluminal medical devices are also described.

摘要: The present application discloses a surgical apparatus for aneurysms comprising: a stent, a delivery guide wire, an introducer sheath and a microcatheter, wherein: the stent is a self-expanding stent; the delivery guide wire outside of which the stent is restrained to is provided in a lumen of the introducer sheath; the introducer sheather is connected with the microcatheter, with lumnes communicating, to form a passageway through which the delivery guide wire and the stent are delivered into a human body. The surgical apparatus for aneurysms provided in the examples of the present application is able to deliver and release the stent which has high density and is super soft to a vascular lesion. A lattice structure of the stent is of high coverage at the vascular lesion such that the stent released into the vessel prodeces the same effects as healing of parent vessel, and thus improves the treatment of vascular aneurysms.

摘要: The endoluminal prosthesis assembly comprises a first stent graft having a first end and a second end and an interior lumen. The first stent graft has an expanded position and a compressed position and defines an access port disposed through a wall of the first stent graft between the first and second ends of the first stent graft. The endoluminal prosthesis assembly further comprises a second stent graft being disposed entirely within the interior lumen of the first stent graft. The second stent graft is disposed within the first stent graft and has an expanded position and a compressed position. In the compressed position, the second stent graft contacts only a portion of an interior wall of the first stent graft and the access port is in fluid communication with the interior lumen of the first stent graft.
