    摘要: A canister includes a charge port, a purge port, an atmosphere port, a main chamber, a sub chamber, activated carbon, and additional activated carbon. The sub chamber communicates with the main chamber. The atmosphere port is connected to the sub chamber directly or via an additional chamber. The activated carbon is stored in a main volume (Vmain) in the main chamber. The additional activated carbon is stored in a sub volume (Vsub) in the sub chamber. A ratio of a length L in a gas flow direction to an equivalent diameter D in a section perpendicular to the gas flow direction is 2 or more for the sub chamber. A ratio of a volume of the activated carbon stored in the main chamber to a volume of the activated carbon stored in the sub chamber (Vmain/Vsub) is more than 7 and equal to or less than 10.

    摘要: A device for injecting water in a vehicle includes a water container which is connected to a number of injection nozzles via a supply line, with a pumping operation for pumping water from the water container to the injection nozzles via the supply line and with a stationary operation in which the supply line is a closed line system. The supply line is equipped with a blocking device which is open in the pumping operation and which is closed in the stationary operation in order to block the supply line and keep same dry. Water is prevented from being suctioned into the supply line and the injection nozzles at low temperatures as a result of a pressure decrease.

    摘要: Atomic oxygen is provided for the purpose of promoting reliable ignition and smooth combustion in a spark ignition internal combustion engine is to disperse a low concentration of an atomic oxygen precursor, such as nitrous oxide (N2O), into the flammable mixture of air and gasoline vapor prior to the time of ignition. The introduction of N2O may take place in the intake manifold, in the stream of exhaust gas being returned as part of the EGR process, or directly into the combustion chamber (for example through a small orifice in the base of the spark plug or through a small nozzle located elsewhere in the cylinder head). Introduction of N2O directly into the combustion chamber may be continuous, or it may be pulsed so as to occur at the time of, or shortly before, spark ignition.

    摘要: An installation for cleaning a motorization system includes an injector, a diagnostic device, and a controller. The injector executes a cleaning sequence for cleaning the motorization system. It does so by injecting a cleaning fluid into one of the inlets. The diagnostic device determines a soiling level as a function of a defect level. The soiling level is indicative of a level of soiling of the motorization system and the defect level is indicative of a level of defectiveness of the first moving part. The controller is configured to supply cleaning parameters to the injection devices for execution of the cleaning sequence. These cleaning parameters depend on the soiling level.
