Abstract:
A temporary dog-confining device is provided for public use. Structurally, the device includes an enclosure formed from front, rear, and opposed side walls. For use, the rear and side walls are covered with screens to provide shade in the enclosure. Further, the enclosure includes a roof covered with a canopy for shading the enclosure. Also, the front wall defines an opening that is selectively closed by a door. In order to secure a dog within the enclosure, the device includes an assembly for locking the door in a closed configuration. Specifically, the locking assembly is operable by a user after a required payment. Moreover, the device includes a separately-accessible compartment mounted within the enclosure to house a fluid container for providing water to a dog in the enclosure. Importantly, that compartment is secured by a fastener that is operated independently of the locking assembly.
Abstract:
The vehicle of the present invention, which has doors that lock and is moved, based on personal identification, comprises: a device for preventing moving of the vehicle based on the personal identification when receiving a return instruction from a vehicle user; and a device for allowing only the operation of the doors for a predetermined period of time after the return instruction.
Abstract:
A delivery managing system for managing delivery of goods from a distribution center through an agent to a receiver is disclosed. A client provides at least schedule information of the receiver. A distribution server provides at least delivery schedule information and manages delivery of the goods. An agent server manages the commission on the goods by the agent. A data transmission network interconnects the client, the agent server and the distribution server. A means for determining the date and time for delivery of the delivery goods is provided, as well as for deciding the agent to be used, between said client and said distribution server. Also, a means for notifying of arrival and/or departure of the goods to and/or from the agent to at least one of the distribution server and said client is disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a locking device 2 for objects of use, which are to be used for a particular period of time by a user, whereby the locking device 2 opens after the input of an opening code 4. The locking device is distinguished in that after input of an end code 6 the locking device issues a confirmation code (8) and changes the opening code in a particular manner (4.fwdarw.4'). Further, the invention relates to a method for the controlled, time-restricted, use of objects of use, which employs the locking device 2. In this method, an opening code 4 is issued by an access control unit 1, the opening code 4 is input into the locking device 2 for opening the same, an end code 6 is input for ending the use and then a confirmation code 8 is issued, the opening code being altered (4.fwdarw.4') by means of the locking device 2.
Abstract:
A device is provided for securing movable things, in particular dogs, against unauthorized removal. A security lock is used which, after insertion of a deposit token, releases an additional lock with an accompanying key or only the key. This additional lock is connected to a restraining device in order to secure the movable thing, so that it is not able to be removed at anyones disposal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a card for a pledge lock, more particularly of a shopping or luggage trolley, wherein the lock can be magnetically actuated by the card.
Abstract:
This structure relates to storage devices and in particular to lockers in particular for luggage such as those to be found at airports and railway stations. The lockers of the present device comprise a door, preferably with no moving parts, which, when the locker is not in use, is permanently biased open and thus in an unlocked position. When the locker is in use the door can be secured merely by shutting the door of the locker. A number of lockers of the present invention can be incorporated into columns of lockers under the control of a central control unit which dispenses appropriate receipts and tickets in exchange for money.
Abstract:
A transport cart with a coin-operated lock. A connection between the coin-operated lock and an associated carrier arm permits an automatic coin mechanism to be pivoted relative to the plane of insertion of a key about an axis of rotation parallel to the handle of the transport cart and is secured at various angles of inclination relative to the handle.
Abstract:
A ski holder for the temporary, theft-proof storage of skis comprises a vertical guide post (1) erected in a suitable manner, to which a ski-holding device (10) is attached so that it is infinitely adjustable. The ski-holding device (10) comprises a coin-operated locking device (4), whereof the bolt secures the skis (12) stored.
Abstract:
A coin slide (11) bearing a coin is movable into a casing (2) of a coin lock (1) to release a locking member (14) and allow full insertion of the coin slide (11). In this position a space (recess 20) in the coin slide (11) is aligned with a space (aperture 21) in a coupling member (8) and with a space (aperture (19) in a casing position separating the coin slide (11) and the coupling member (8). A locking member (e.g. ball 18) in the apertures (19 and 21) may now be moved upwardly, on pulling of the coupling member (8), to occupy the recess (20) and the aperture (19) so as to allow complete withdrawal of the coupling member (8), e.g. to free a shopping trolley. The coin is released by reversing the procedure on re-insertion of the coupling member (8).
