摘要: Methods and systems for watermarking a circuit design include defining a watermarked cell library that includes cells, each of which defines a design structure that corresponds to a manufacturable physical structure, at least one of which being a watermarked call that includes a watermark. The watermark is encoded using a design structure that extends beyond a respective cell boundary. A first circuit design file is generated for a device to be manufactured. The first circuit design file including at least one watermarked cell. The first circuit design file is sent to a manufacturer for fabrication of a corresponding device that includes a watermark structure that encodes an identifier.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus for computer aided design of physical structures include: producing a quad parameterization computer model (including quad parameter domains) of a polygon mesh, where quad parameter domain(s) adjacent to a boundary curve interpolate the boundary curve; and forming a computer model of a three dimensional object by constructing locally refinable surface representation(s) from the quad parameterization computer model, refining a boundary of the locally refinable surface representation(s) to approximate the boundary curve within a first tolerance value set in accordance with a smallest dimension representable by a geometry modeling kernel, freezing control points of the locally refinable surface representation(s) at the boundary, and modifying remaining interior portions of the locally refinable surface representation(s) to approximate the polygon mesh within a second tolerance value that is at least an order of magnitude larger than the first tolerance value.

The user can then lock the value of one or more of the variables and prices and change others to instantly discover how a change to one affects the others. The user can then order manufacture of the designed product as a function of values of price and other business variables.

摘要: This disclosure describes a method to verify the design of an article of manufacture that includes a software program executing on a workstation that executes the following steps: providing the shape of a first component and providing the shape of a second component; providing a boundary distance constraint; constructing a shape spectrum of the exterior boundary surface of closest approach associated with the shape of the first component, the shape of the second component, and the boundary distance constraint; verifying that the arrangement of the shape of the first component and the shape of the second component satisfy the boundary distance constraint; evaluating a subderivative of the shape spectrum of the exterior boundary surface of closest approach associated with the shape of the first component, the shape of the second component; where verifying that the boundary distance constraint is satisfied between the shape of the first component and the shape of the second component and when satisfied, the design of the article of manufacture can be verified.

摘要: A method for making a rapid prototype of a patient's mouth to be used in the design and fabrication of a dental prosthesis. The method takes an impression of a mouth including a first installation site having a dental implant installed in the first installation site and a gingival healing abutment having at least one informational marker attached to the dental implant. A stone model is prepared based on the impression, including teeth models and model markers indicative of the at least one informational marker. The model is scanned. Scan data is generated from the scanning. The scan data is transferred to a CAD program. A three-dimensional model of the installation site is created in the CAD program. The at least one informational marker is determined to gather information for manufacturing the rapid prototype. Rapid prototype dimensional information is developed. The rapid prototype dimensional information is transferred to a rapid prototyping machine which fabricate a rapid prototype of the patient's dentition as well as a dental implant analog position.

The mechanical interface includes a continuous socket defining a contoured inside surface and a contoured outside surface, and includes a material having an intrinsic impedance that varies through the material, so that the intrinsic impedance varies along the contoured inside surface.

The industrial automation component may then generate a list of industrial automation components based on the first portion of the industrial automation components and the second portion of industrial automation components, wherein each of the list of industrial automation components is configured to translate a first set of data associated with the first portion of the industrial automation components to a second set of data configured to be at least partly interpretable by the second portion of industrial automation components.

摘要: In various embodiments, a stylization application generates designs that reflect stylistic preferences. In operation, the stylization application computes characterization information based on a first design and a trained machine-learning model that maps one or more designs to characterization information associated with one or more styles. The stylization application then computes a style score based on the characterization information and a target style that is included in the one or more styles. Subsequently, the stylization application generates a second design based on the style score, where the second design is more representative of the target style than the first design. Advantageously, because the stylization application can substantially increase the number of designs that can be generated based on the target style in a given amount of time, relative to more manual prior art techniques, the overall quality of the design ultimately selected for production can be improved.
