    Abstract: A radio base station, user terminal, and apparatus in a mobile communication system including a plurality of cells corresponding to a plurality of frequency bands are configured to either transmit or receive a system information block indicating radio resources. The radio resources are used by a user terminal to transmit and/or receive a direct discovery signal for discovering another user terminal in proximity of the user terminal. The system information block includes information indicating a cycle of time resources reserved as the radio resources, information indicating one or more frequency bands selected from the plurality of frequency bands, and information indicating one or more resource blocks reserved as the radio resources in the one or more frequency bands. The radio base station, user terminal, and apparatus further configured to either transmit or receive change notification information, relating to a change of the radio resources, separately from the system information block.

    Abstract: A base station supports SC-PTM. The base station sets a first configuration and a second configuration to the user terminal. The first configuration is a configuration on the user terminal discontinuously monitoring a PDCCH on which a control signal is transmitted, the control signal being for receiving multicast data transmitted by the SC-PTM from the base station. The first configuration includes an On-duration timer that is a period during which the user terminal receives the PDCCH. The first configuration is a configuration corresponding to a RNTI assigned commonly to a plurality of user terminals that receives identical multicast data by the SC-PTM. The second configuration is a configuration on the user terminal discontinuously monitoring a PDCCH on which a control signal is transmitted, the control signal being for receiving data transmitted by another transmission method from the base station.

    Abstract: A communication control method includes a user terminal that supports a cellular communication and a WLAN communication comprises receiving a location measurement request message from a network apparatus via the cellular communication, where the location measurement request message includes a location request message for requesting location of the user terminal and a measurement request for requesting WLAN measurement, performing WLAN measurement on a WLAN access point, and transmitting a report message to the network apparatus via the cellular communication. The report message includes the location of the user terminal and WLAN measurement result of the WLAN access point, and the WLAN measurement result includes an identifier of the WLAN access point, signal strength of the WLAN access point and time information indicating time when the WLAN measurement are performed.
