Abstract: A system and method for image-guided microscopic illumination are provided. A processing module controls an imaging assembly such that a camera acquires an image or images of a sample in multiple fields of view, and the image or images are automatically transmitted to a processing module and processed by the first processing module automatically in real-time based on a predefined criterion so as to determine coordinate information of an interested region in each field of view. The processing module also controls an illuminating assembly to illuminate the interested region of the sample according to the received coordinate information regarding to the interested region, with the illumination patterns changing among the fields of view.

Abstract: The invention found that first, the feasibility of transfer of tumor resistance and other healthy longevity characters through transplantation of bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMNC) or hematopoietic stem cells (HSC)/hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPC) consisting of genetically engineered EKLF gene encoding the hematopoietic transcription factor EKLF. Secondly, the present invention demonstrates expression of EKLF in the long-term hematopoietic stem cells (LT-HSC), and thus EKLF as a target of regulation of hematopoiesis.

Abstract: Disclosed is a stabilized acyclic saccharide composite, which includes a LDH-based (layered double hydroxide-based) material and acyclic saccharides intercalated in interlayer regions of the LDH-based material. The acyclic saccharides stabilized and trapped in the LDH-based material give an opportunity for direct functionalization to other valuable molecules in the pharmaceutical, chemical or carbohydrate industries. Further, a novel pathway for saccharide transformation and aldol condensation without the drawbacks associated with enzymatic catalysts is achieved through the acyclic saccharides trapped by the LDH-based material.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a novel class of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies comprising a homogeneous population of anti-CD20 IgG molecules having the same N-glycan on each of Fc. The antibodies of the invention can be produced from anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies by Fc glycoengineering. Importantly, the antibodies of the invention have improved therapeutic values with increased ADCC activity and increased Fc receptor binding affinity compared to the corresponding monoclonal antibodies that have not been glycoengineered.

Abstract: An isolated anti-SCUBE2 antibody or a binding fragment thereof is disclosed. The anti-SCUBE2 antibody or binding fragment thereof is for use in treating a disease associated with VEGF-induced angiogenesis, or for use in treating a tumor or inhibiting tumor angiogenesis and cancer cell growth in a subject in need thereof.
