Abstract:
In graphics processing data is received representing one or more vertices for a scene in a virtual space. A projection of the vertices onto a screen space of a display device is performed. A density of the vertices is adjusted for selected portions of the screen space, such that a lower density of vertices is present in selected portions of the screen space. Primitive assembly is performed on the vertices to generate a one or more primitives in screen space from the projection of the vertices onto the screen space. A finished frame is then generated by performing pixel processing to assign pixel values to the pixel or pixels that are part of the corresponding primitives. In some implementations, the finished frame can be stored in the memory or displayed on the display device.
Abstract:
An inputting device for inputting information to a touch sensor is disclosed which is less likely to cause false detection and allows comparatively free selection of a disposition position of the inputting device relative to a touch sensor. The inputting device includes a conductive member disposed on a touch sensor of the capacitance type and cooperating with the touch sensor to form a capacitor therebetween, a ground terminal connected to the ground of the touch sensor, a current path interconnecting the conductive member and the ground terminal, and a switch disposed on the current path. A result of detection by the touch sensor varies in response to switching of the switch.
Abstract:
An imaging device includes a first camera and a second camera and shoots the same object under different shooting conditions. A shot-image data acquirer of an image analyzer acquires data of two images simultaneously shot from the imaging device. A correcting section aligns the distributions of the luminance value between the two images by carrying out correction for either one of the two images. A correction table managing section switches and generates a correction table to be used according to the function implemented by the information processing device. A correction table storage stores the correction table showing the correspondence relationship between the luminance values before and after correction. A depth image generator performs stereo matching by using the two images and generates a depth image.

A reception unit receives data whose bit rate varies. A signal processing section 118 converts the data received by the reception unit into data of a data format to be transmitted to a client apparatus and stores the data obtained by the conversion into a buffer 120. When data is stored by a given amount into the buffer 120, a transmission section streaming-distributes the data to the client apparatus. A control section 126 additionally stores, when data is not stored by the given amount into the buffer 120 in a given transmission period, dummy data into the buffer 120 until the given amount is reached, and controls the transmission section to transmit the resulting data.

To provide a video display system for allowing a user to look at and listen to video and sound on various means. A video display system has a video display device and a portable video display device, connected to each other for communication. The video display device produces own device video data and own device sound data to be displayed and reproduced, respectively, on the video display device; displays the own device video data and reproduces the own device sound data; encodes these data into a data format which the portable video display device is able to handle, to thereby produce other device video data and other device sound data; and sends to the portable video display device. The portable video display device receives these data, and decodes and displays the other device video data, and decodes and reproduces the other device sound data.
