Abstract:
A door driving apparatus includes a rotary actuator, a rotary transmission member integrally fixed to an output shaft extending from the rotary actuator, and a pair of linear transmission members opposed to each other via the rotary transmission member. The linear transmission members are configured to be in mesh with the rotary transmission member and to move approximately parallel to each other in opposite directions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a furniture drive for driving a movable piece of furniture, comprising an electric motor, an actuator that can be moved back and forth between two end positions to apply a force on the piece of furniture to be driven, and a gearbox connected between the electric motor and actuator, the gearbox having at least one gear stage that is configured as an eccentric gearbox and comprising two gear wheels that mesh with each other, characterized in that one of the two gear wheels (7, 8) is firmly connected or coupled to the actuator (4) and the other gear wheel (7, 8) is coupled to the electric motor (3) such that the eccentric gearbox (6) has two limit positions, which correspond to the end positions of the actuator (4), and upon a rotation of the gear wheels (7, 8), starting from a first of the two limit positions to the other limit position, the gear ratio decreases steadily.
Abstract:
Movable partition systems include an elongated, fixed drive member extending along a track, a partition that is automatically and manually movable along the track, and a motor carried by the movable partition configured to drive a rotatable drive member that is engagable with the elongated, fixed drive member. The rotatable drive member may be engaged with, and disengaged from, the fixed drive member. Methods of moving a partition along a track include actuating a motor carried by a movable partition to drive rotation of a drive member while the drive member is engaged with an elongated, fixed drive member, and manually moving the partition along the track while the rotatable drive member is disengaged from the fixed drive member. Methods of installing a movable partition system include configuring a rotatable drive member to be capable of engagement with, and disengagement from, an elongated, fixed drive member.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns articulation means (1, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 901, 902, 903, 904, 905, 906, 907, 908, 909, 910, 911, 912, 913) suited to connect two elements (W, D), said means comprising a first part (2) and a second part (3), each one suited to be fixed to one of the above mentioned elements (W, D) and one first rotation axis (4) and a second rotation axis (5), preferably parallel to each other. Said articulation means also comprise kinematic means (6) suited to ensure that a rotation of the first part (2) by a first angle (A1) in relation to said first axis (4) determines a movement of the first axis (4) in relation to the second axis (5).

Abstract:
A hinge for controlling the movement of a door on a refrigerator is disclosed, the hinge allowing the refrigerator to be installed flush to adjacent cabinets. The door translates and rotates in order to allow access to the refrigerator cabinet interior without contacting the adjacent cabinets.
Abstract:
A drive for a movable furniture element has an actuating element for moving the furniture element and a motor for driving the actuating element. The actuating element and the furniture element may at times be moved independently of one another, and a position measurement system is provided for determining both the position of the actuating element and the position of the furniture element.
Abstract:
A refrigerator and/or freezer with an appliance carcass, can be closed by at least one door, and a powered door operating device for automatically operating the door. The door operating device has drives both automatically opening and closing the door.
Abstract:
A declutching mechanism includes a chassis, a first gear rotatable relative to the chassis about a first gear axis fixed relative to the chassis, and a second gear selectively engageable with the first gear. The declutching mechanism includes an eccentric arrangement having a first shaft with a first shaft axis and a second shaft with a second shaft axis offset from the first shaft axis. The first shaft is non-rotatably fixed to the second shaft and selectively rotatably mounted in the chassis. The second gear is rotatably mounted on the second shaft. A holding feature selectively holds the eccentric arrangement in a first position. With the eccentric arrangement being held in the first position by the holding feature, the first gear and the second gear are in meshing engagement. With the eccentric arrangement being released by the holding feature, gear separating forces cause the eccentric arrangement to rotate about the first axis to a second position, thereby disengaging the first gear and the second gear.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a panel movement system. The panel movement system includes top and bottom rails, top and bottom rail attachments, and a gear movement system. The top and bottom rails include threaded screw members along their lengths and first cog members rotatively coupled to the threaded screw members. The top and bottom rail attachments are movably attached to respective ones of the rails for lateral movement along lengths of the rails. Each rail attachment includes a rotatable second cog member engaged with the first cog member on respective ones of the rails. The gear movement synchronization system connects the rotatable second cog member of the top rail attachment to the rotatable second cog member of the bottom rail attachment such that the top and bottom rail attachments move along the rails in unison. The top and bottom rail attachments are adapted to have a panel connected therebetween.
