Abstract: Disclosed is a device with a stator and a rotor, the device comprising: a stator; a rotor, wherein an air gap is provided between the rotor and the stator; and an air gap protection device fixedly connected to the stator, wherein the radial distance between the air gap protection device and the rotor is less than the radial distance between the stator and the rotor, and the air gap protection device rotates relative to the rotor when in contact with the rotor. By arranging the air gap protection device fixedly connected to the stator, the air gap protection device can rotate relative to the rotor when in contact with the rotor, and the radial distance between the air gap protection device and the rotor is less than the radial distance between the stator and the rotor.

Abstract: A motor unit is provided having an electric motor, which is arranged in a housing, wherein the motor unit comprises a lubricant circuit, which cools and lubricates the electric motor, wherein the electric motor comprises a stator and a rotor, which is mounted rotatably in the stator, being connected fixed to the housing, while between the stator and the rotor there is a rotor gap. The motor unit further comprises a lubricant pump, which is fluidically connected to the stator housing, and a flow generating unit, which draws in air from the housing and blows the air into the rotor gap in order to remove lubricant from the rotor gap and reduce the internal friction in the electric motor. A method is also provided for reducing the internal friction in a motor unit.

Abstract: A magnetic array for use in a synchronous electrical machine or a magnetic gear box, comprising a plurality of discrete magnetic segments. When individual ones of the segments are spaced away from influence of ferromagnetic material, such as prior to placement in the array, each includes a pole having the same maximum field strength. Abstract: A composite material permanent magnet synchronous electric motor includes a composite material shell; a permanent magnet outer rotor is disposed in the composite material shell; a stator is disposed in the permanent magnet outer rotor in a penetrating manner; and air gaps are disposed in gaps between the stator and the composite material shell and between the stator and the permanent magnet outer rotor in a one-to-one correspondence manner. Abstract: A motor includes a rotor rotatable about a rotation axis, and a stator surrounding the rotor so as to form an air gap between the stator and the rotor. The rotor has a rotor core having a magnet insertion hole and a rare earth magnet provided in the magnet insertion hole. The rotor core has a plurality of slits on an outer side of the magnet insertion hole in a radial direction about the rotation axis. Each of the plurality of slits has a length in the radial direction which is longer than a length in a circumferential direction about the rotation axis. The plurality of slits have a uniform minimum distance to the magnet insertion hole. When the minimum distance is expressed as T and the air gap is expressed as G, 2.75≤T/G≤5.25 is satisfied.
