Abstract: A wireless transmit-receive unit (WTRU) may be provided. The WTRU may be configured to receive a first message from a first relay WTRU. The first message may indicate a service provided by a second WTRU and a first measurement associated with a broadcast message. The WTRU may be configured to determine a second measurement. The second measurement may be associated with the first message received from the first relay WTRU. The WTRU may be configured to send a second message to the first relay WTRU if the first measurement satisfies a first criteria for selecting a relay from a plurality of relays and the second measurement satisfies a second criteria for selecting the relay from the plurality of relays. The second message may comprise an indication to establish communication between the first WTRU and the second WTRU via the first relay WTRU.

Abstract: A method implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) of provisioning the WTRU for communication in a temporary local network includes transmitting, to an onboarding network, information regarding a capability of the WTRU to communicate with the temporary local network. Configuration information for temporary local network provisioning is received from the onboarding network. A message identifying a provisioning configuration for use by the WTRU with the temporary local network is received from the onboarding network, using the received configuration information. A message is sent to the temporary local network using the provisioning configuration.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for range extension, basic service set (B SS) color labeling, and multi-user (MU) fragmentation and control in WLANs. A range extension notification/enablement scheme, a clear channel assessment (CCA), a headroom indication, and/or power scaling may be provided for a range extension mode. BSS color may be provided for multiple-BSSs under an access point (AP). Uplink (UL) transmission may be provided with different fragmentation capabilities. A high-efficiency (HE) trigger-based UL NDP physical layer convergence protocol (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) frame may be provided. A station (STA) may receive a trigger frame comprising a null data packet (NDP) indication and a trigger type. The STA may determine that the STA is an intended recipient of the trigger frame. The STA may prepare an NDP PPDU for a control frame and/or a management frame based on the trigger type.

Abstract: An AP/PCP may perform user selection/pairing/grouping based on a measurement of an analog transmission (e.g., signal to noise ratio (SNR) or signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR)). The SNRs may be used, for example by the station, to determine best beams and/or beam pairs and/or worst beams and/or beam pairs. A station may feed back the best few beams and/or beam pairs for a Tx and Rx virtual antenna pair. A station may feed back the worst few beams for the Tx and Rx virtual antenna pair. The AP/PCP may receive the indication(s) and/or use the indication(s) to group the stations.

Abstract: A method is described for using artificial intelligence (AI) components in association with first a transceiver node in a wireless network, where the first node is configured to send data over a wireless channel and to initiate a training procedure for an artificial intelligent component in a second node. The first node, having an encoder, transmits, to a decoder in the second node, a plurality of ordered training pairs, the transmission in response to a detection of a trigger condition based on a reconstruction loss value determined by the first node. The first node receives, from the second node, partially processed training information corresponding to the transmitted training pairs. The first node updates learnable parameters of the encoder based on the received partially processed training information to reduce the reconstruction loss value.

Abstract: A method performed by a base station may include transmitting a configuration message including at least information indicating a subset of a plurality of transmit beams to be used for transmitting a set of synchronization signals. The set of synchronization signals including a primary synchronization signal and a secondary synchronization signal may be transmitted. A random access channel (RACH) transmission may be received using a receive beam associated with one of the subset of the plurality of transmit beams used by the base station to transmit the set of synchronization signals. The transmitted set of synchronization signals transmitted may have a signal quality above a signal quality threshold. A reference signal may be transmitted along with a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) transmission. The reference signal may have a sequence derived from a beam index associated with the one of the subset of the plurality of transmit beams.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products directed to phase-continuous frequency selective precoding are provided. Included among these classes are methods for use in connection with dynamic precoding resource block group (PRG) configuration and with codebook based transmission configuration. Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, architectures and interfaces for a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) performing a client-side edge resolution function (cERF) are provided. A method may include any of: transmitting, to a network-side edge application resolver (nEAR), a signal requesting an IP address identifying (e.g., associated with) a domain name system (DNS) server associated with the WTRU; applying, by the WTRU, any of edge instance (EI) record rules for the identified DNS server, or updating EI records with the IP address identifying the DNS server; transmitting, to a DNS server, a DNS query associated with a fully qualified domain name (FQDN); receiving, in response to the DNS query, FQDN resolution from the DNS server; on condition that a mobility event of the WTRU occurs, transmitting, to the nEAR, a signal requesting information for updating the EI records of the WTRU; and applying, by the WTRU, any of the updated EI record rules in order to perform any of: (1) redirecting application session traffic to provides session continuity for the WTRU, and (2) breaking any number of application sessions.
