Abstract: A preparation method of a polyamide thin film composite reverse osmosis membrane and a polyamide thin film composite reverse osmosis membrane prepared using the preparation method are provided. The preparation method of a polyamide thin film composite reverse osmosis membrane using interfacial polymerization of an amine aqueous solution and amine-reactive compound includes the steps of (a) forming an active layer through interfacial polymerization by contacting a surface of a porous support with an amine aqueous solution containing a polyfunctional aromatic amine monomer and an organic solution containing polyfunctional acyl halide monomer as an amine-reactive compound, and (b) performing post-treatment preceded by the forming of the active layer by contacting the active layer with an aqueous solution containing 0.1 to 100 wt % of polyfunctional tertiary alcohol amine. The polyamide thin film composite reverse osmosis membrane prepared by using the polyfunctional tertiary alcohol amine as a post-treatment compound has improved water permeability and salt rejection compared to a case of using various post-treatment agents or methods.

Abstract: By controlling the average size of matrix grains of polycrystalline bodies to more than a critical size at which an abnormal, exaggerated or discontinuous grain growth ends, and less than twice the critical size, large single crystals enough for practical use may be made even without occurring abnormal grain growth in polycrystalline bodies only through a heat treatment process without using a melting process and a special apparatus, thereby allowing the mass production of the large single crystals at low costs with high reproduction possibility.

Abstract: A semiconductor memory device and a method for testing the same are capable of performing a low-frequency test operation even when a high-frequency external clock signal is input. The method for testing the semiconductor memory device comprises: interpreting a control command from a plurality of external control signals and generating a low-frequency operation control signal when an MRS command included in the control command designates a write and read test operation; when a write command is input as the control command, converting the write command into a low-frequency write command in response to the low-frequency operation control signal, generating an internal low-frequency clock signal in response to the low-frequency operation control signal, and performing a low-frequency write operation based on the internal low-frequency clock signal; and buffering an external clock signal to generate an internal normal-frequency clock signal and, when a read command is input as the control command, performing a read operation based on the internal normal-frequency clock signal in response to the read command.

Abstract: Disclosed are an ice bin installed in a refrigerator or the like and a refrigerating machine having the same. One auger having spiral transfer wings rotates to transfer ice cubes that are introduced between the transfer wings, which allows a constant amount of ice or an amount of ice selected by a user to be dispensed. In addition, a shutter is disposed at a lower side of the auger to define a dispensing space, which may reduce a length of a casing in a depth direction and, thereby, result in a reduced size of the ice bin.
