Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for a WTRU to operate using multiple schedulers. The WTRU may exchange data with the network over more than one data path, such that each data path may use a radio interface connected to a different network node and each node may be associated with an independent scheduler. For example, a WTRU may establish a RRC connection between the WTRU and a network. The RRC connection may establish a first radio interface between the WTRU and a first serving site of the network and a second radio interface between the WTRU and a second serving site of the network. The RRC connection may be established between the WTRU and the MeNB and a control function may be established between the WTRU and the SCeNB. The WTRU may receive data from the network over the first radio interface or the second radio interface.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for redirecting a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) to a dedicated core network (CN) node are described. An apparatus is configured to initiate a Service Request with a non-dedicated network node. The apparatus is configured to receive a special identifier in response to the Service Request, which indicates the apparatus should be redirected to a dedicated CN node based on subscription information. Radio access network resources associated with the apparatus may be released and the apparatus may then perform a tracking area update (TAU) request which is then forwarded to the dedicated CN node.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for power control for wireless transmissions are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may reduce transmission power to channels for carrier aggregation such that a total transmit power of the WTRU is smaller than or equal to a maximum transmission power level in all symbols of a transmission. Further, transmission power may be allocated to the channels for carrier aggregation based on priority. Also, transmission power may be allocated to a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) with uplink control information over a PUSCH without uplink control information. Moreover, transmission power may be allocated to a PUCCH or a PUSCH over a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission. Additionally, the WTRU may transmit data over one or more channels, of the channels for carrier aggregation, at the respective transmission power allocated to the one or more channels.

Additionally, the Greenfield preamble may be utilized for efficient transmission and reception of control information to wireless devices, whereby the control information may be indicated using the STF, the first LTF, or the first or second SIG fields.

The WTRU may a receiving a direct communication accept message from the target WTRU via the second relay WTRU, indicating the traffic may be relayed via the second relay WTRU.

Abstract: A network entity, such as a user equipment (UE), may request that a network provide multicast and broadcast services, e.g., where the request includes entity preferences such as network slice selection information. The MBNF may, for example, manage groups of entities, check an entity's access privileges for services, communicate with the a Management and Network Orchestration (MANO) system to reserve resources, and send data to entities over a shared control plane connection.

A WTRU may obtain a new EAS address, for example, based on receipt of a PDU session establishment and/or a modification accept message.
