Abstract: A roof module for forming a vehicle roof on a motor vehicle, the roof module having a panel component which at least partially forms a roof skin of the vehicle roof, the roof skin serving as an outer sealing surface of the roof module, at least one environment sensor configured to send and/or receive electromagnetic signals through a roof see-through area to detect a vehicle environment, and a cooling mechanism having a cooling-air inlet, a filter member and at least one cooling channel, the cooling mechanism being configured to dissipate waste heat emitted by the environment sensor and/or ambient heat introduced from outside from the environment sensor. The filter member has a conical and/or pot-shaped shape and is provided at the cooling-air inlet and is configured to prevent and/or reduce an entry of foreign particles and/or liquid into an interior of the at least one cooling channel.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cell holder for holding cylindrical battery cells, where the cell holder comprises: a plurality of holding portions each of which has a bottom and sidewalls and thus forms a portion that is designed to receive and fix, around a base surface and, at least in part, a lateral surface, one battery cell in each case, where the sidewalls enclose the holding portions in each case; at least one contact surface, which is arranged in a contact region for the battery cell substantially perpendicularly to the bottom and is designed to be in planar or linear contact with a portion of a lateral surface of the battery cell when the battery cell is inserted; and at least one deformable contact portion, which is designed to deform when the battery cell is inserted into the corresponding holding portion.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for checking a semiconductor switch for a fault, wherein the semiconductor switch is driven with a PWM signal with a variable duty cycle. To the benefit of determining faults on the semiconductor switch reliably and cost-effectively, it is provided that if the semiconductor switch is operated with a duty cycle of 100% or 0%, the current measurement of the overall system is evaluated, while if the semiconductor switch is operated with a duty cycle of between 0% and 100%, the generated voltage pulses across the semiconductor switch are evaluated.

Abstract: A heating mechanism for a cover element of a sensor assembly, the heating mechanism may have a plurality of electrically connected conductor paths applied to a backing film and/or a heating film applied to the backing film. The heating mechanism may have at least one electrical push-through contacting element, which has a film contact portion and a connection contact portion, and a counter-contact element, the film contact portion being electro-conductively connected to at least one of the plurality of conductor paths and/or the heating film, the connection contact portion being inserted through the backing film and protruding relative to the backing film, and the counter-contact element being attached to the connection contact portion so that the film contact portion is counter-secured relative to the counter-contact element with at least the backing film interposed, and the connection contact portion being configured to be connected to a terminal of an electrical source.
