摘要: In a second detection circuit, a current output device outputs, to a circuit resistor, a current corresponding to a circuit voltage between an input terminal of a second FET to which a current is input and ground of a second drive circuit that switches the second FET ON or OFF. The second detection circuit outputs a voltage between two ends of the circuit resistor. A voltage between the ground of the second drive circuit and a downstream end of the circuit resistor is higher than 0 V.

摘要: A switch control circuit includes a power switch, a first protection unit, and a second protection unit. The power switch has a first terminal coupled to a first voltage terminal for receiving a first voltage, a second terminal coupled to a second voltage terminal for receiving a second voltage, and a control terminal receives a control voltage. In a first mode, the control voltage is greater than the first voltage. In a second mode, when a voltage of the second voltage terminal is smaller than a first reference voltage, the first protection unit pulls down the control voltage to reduce a current flowing through the power switch. When the voltage of the second voltage terminal is smaller than the second reference voltage, the second protection unit pulls down the control voltage to a ground voltage.

In one aspect, circuitry for soft shutdown of a power switch includes a sense input to be coupled to a power switch receive a signal representative of current passing through the power switch, a comparator to compare the signal with an overcurrent threshold indicative of an overcurrent condition of the power switch and to output a triggering signal in response to the comparison indicating the overcurrent condition, and a gating transistor to be coupled to a control terminal of the power switch, the gating transistor configured to divert a portion of a drive signal away from the control terminal of the power switch in response to the triggering signal.

摘要: The present disclosure proposes an overcurrent orotection circuit of the GOA circuit. A voltage signal from a control signal source of the GOA circuit is converted into a current signal, and then the current signal is amplified. Subsequently, a product of the amplified current signal and a load resistor is compared with a threshold voltage. If the product is larger than the threshold voltage, a controller controls a switch to output a low voltage level signal to ensure that the GOA circuit is at overcurrent protected state. In this way, the panel is prevented from being damaged due to overabundant currents. Besides, the comparison of the amplified current signal is good for decreasing detection difficulties, enhancing precision of a measurement, and lowering risk of operation mistakes. Moreover, 2D and 3D modes in overcurrent protection through different load circuits improve the effect of protection.

摘要: The short-circuit protection circuit for a Gate Driver on Array (GOA) liquid crystal panel contains a power module, a first booster module, a feedback module, and a second booster module series-connected in the this order. A control module is electrically connected to the first booster, feedback, and second booster modules. The power module provides a power voltage. The control module provides a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal so as to control the first and second booster modules to transform the power voltage into driving voltage. The feedback module extracts a feedback current from a current flowing from the first to the second booster module and provides a feedback signal to the control module. When the feedback current exceeds a current threshold, the control module cuts off the PWM signal output so as to achieve short-circuit protection. A liquid crystal panel incorporating the above short-circuit protection circuit is also provided.
