Abstract:
There is provided a method for transferring a status report in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: configuring a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) status report used by a PDCP layer located above a Radio Link Control (RLC) layer, the PDCP status report including an indicator indicating a count value of a first non-received service data unit (SDU); and transferring the configured PDCP status report to a lower layer. The indicator may be first missing sequence number count (FMS COUNT) value which contains the count value of the first non-received PDCP SDU.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for selecting a cell in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a radio resource control (RRC) connection release message including redirection information from a serving cell. The UE determines whether to ignore the redirection information in the RRC connection release message according to a release cause of an RRC connection release and a user preference between a unicast service and a multimedia broadcast/multicast service (MBMS) service. If it is determined to ignore the redirection information, the UE ignores the redirection information in the RRC connection release message.
Abstract:
End-to-end latency measurement scheme is discloses. In this scheme, the UE receives a request message from a network. This request message requests the UE to report transmission or reception timing information. And, the transmission or reception timing information may be for a latency measurement. Thereafter, the UE transmits the transmission or reception timing information to the network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for scheduling uplink (UL) transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a backoff parameter from a network, and determines whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter before transmitting a scheduling request (SR) to the network via a dedicated channel. Whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter is determined according to a prioritized access, and the prioritized access corresponds to one of emergency access, high priority access, control element/information in media access control (MAC), radio link control (RLC) or packet data convergence protocol (PDCP), data radio bearer (DRB) for voice/video service, signaling radio bearer (SRB) 0, SRB 1, SRB 2, multimedia telephony service (MMTEL)-voice, MMTEL-video, and voice over long-term evolution (VoLTE).
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indicator in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) transmits an indicator to a base station, using at least one of a buffer status report (BSR) media access control (MAC) control element (CE) and a power headroom report (PHR) MAC CE if uplink transmission is not available. The indicator may indicates that there is no data in a buffer of the UE regardless of a current buffer status, or that there is no power headroom regardless of current power headroom status. The indicator may be a new logical channel identifier (LCID) or a new field, which indicates that the UL transmission is not available, in the at least one of the BSR MAC CE and the PHR MAC CE.

Abstract:
Provided is a reporting method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises receiving positioning duration setting from a network, evaluating a positioning enabling condition, and if the positioning enabling condition is satisfied, starting a positioning duration timer, enabling positioning, acquiring position information through the enabled positioning, and transmitting a report message including a measurement result and the position information to the network.
Abstract:
A signaling controlling method that is performed by user equipment in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes: receiving an operation control message from a serving cell, wherein the operation control message includes control information for controlling a user equipment-originated indication; determining based on the control information whether to report the user equipment-originated indication; and generating and transmitting the user equipment-originated indication to the serving cell if it is determined that the user equipment-originated indication is to be reported.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for power headroom reporting in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: determining a first weight factor for the first BS and a second weigh factor for the second BS if a sum of a power headroom (PH) for the first BS or a PH for the second BS is more than a PH of activated cells of the UE; reducing a size of the PH for the first BS by using the first weight factor; and reducing a size of PH for the second BS by using the second weight factor.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for updating a tracking area for a device-to-device (D2D) connection in a wireless communication system is provided. A second mobile device receives a tracking area update (TAU) request message from a first mobile device which has a D2D connection with the second mobile device, and transmits a TAU message to a network.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for measuring and reporting a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method involves receiving a CSI-RS configuration from a network, the CSI-RS configuration including information indicating a plurality of CSI-RS resources that is an object to be measured, measuring the plurality of CSI-RS resources in order to acquire a plurality of CSI-RS measurement results, determining whether or not to report the CSI-RS measurement results, and transmitting a measurement report message to the network. The measurement report message includes a specific number of CSI-RS measurement results having a higher level of quality from among the plurality of CSI-RS measurement results.
