    Abstract: A threaded joint arrangement with visual and tactile indication of correct tightening force, includes a threaded fastener having a fastener shaft and a fastener head, a biasing member, a first object provided with a cavity in a reference surface with a bottom surface provided with a through hole, and a second object with a threaded hole. The through hole is aligned with the threaded hole and the fastener shaft extends through the through hole and is in threaded engagement with the threaded hole. The biasing member is arranged in the cavity between the fastener head and the bottom surface and is compressed between the fastener head and the bottom surface in response to rotation of the threaded fastener. An alignment surface is movable by rotation of the threaded fastener between a first position outside the cavity, a second position flush with the reference surface and a third position inside cavity.

    Abstract: A TDM MIMO FMCW radar comprises an array of physical receivers with a first spacing in a first direction and a plurality of physical transmitters arranged with a second spacing in said first direction. A virtual array signal of a range-Doppler bin relating to a scene with a moving object is processed by a phase compensation method, which introduces a phase ambiguity between the subarrays. For each of the subarrays, a frequency spectrum is computed of those elements of the compensated virtual array signal which correspond to consecutive virtual antenna elements generated by physical receivers belonging to the same row. Next, an amplitude-peak frequency is identified jointly for the frequency spectra of the subarrays. Next, a residual phase shift between a pair of the subarrays is determined by comparing, at the amplitude-peak frequency, the respective phases of the frequency spectra.

    Abstract: A device for monitoring a heap of material, comprises circuitry for executing a plurality of functions. A region of interest function, in a thermal video stream captured by a thermal video camera, defines a region of interest covering the heap of material. A reference spatial property setting function, from pixels within a video frame of the thermal video stream, determines a spatial property of the heap of material; and sets the determined spatial property as a reference spatial property. A region of interest adjusting function determines a respective sample spatial property for regions in the thermal video stream; and adjusts the region of interest such that regions exhibiting a sample spatial property above a threshold are included by the region of interest. A temperature monitoring function over time and within the region of interest, monitors a temperature measure; and if it exceeds a predetermined threshold, generates an alarm event.

    Abstract: A method for distributing an audio instruction from a manager site at a client site in a distributed audio system having a plurality of client sites, a generalized audio instruction for playback of audio at the client sites is received via user input at the manager site.     Abstract: A method and a device for setting a value of an object property in a sequence of metadata frames corresponding to a sequence of video frames is provided. An object is detected in a plurality of video frames. For a temporally first video frame a first value of an object property is determined and the object property is set to have the first value in a metadata frame corresponding to the first video frame. For each subsequent video frame, a subsequent value of the object property is determined and a deviation is calculated with respect to a value of the object property that was last set in a metadata frame. If the deviation exceeds a non-zero threshold, the object property is set to have the subsequent value in a metadata frame corresponding to the subsequent video frame. Otherwise no value of the object property is set in that metadata frame.
