Abstract: A method of detecting a reflection in a first thermal image captured by a thermal image sensor and, a second image is captured by a visible light sensor, near infrared sensor, or short-wave infrared sensor having a field of view which overlaps a field of view of the thermal image. A relationship between coordinates in the thermal image and the second image is determined. A first object is detected in a first position in the thermal image. A candidate image area in a second position in the second image is analysed to determine if anx 10 object equivalent to the first object is present, the second position corresponding to the first position according to the relationship between the coordinates in the thermal image and the second image. In response to a determination that there is no equivalent object in candidate image area, it is determined that first object is a reflection.

Abstract: A threaded joint arrangement with visual and tactile indication of correct tightening force, includes a threaded fastener having a fastener shaft and a fastener head, a biasing member, a first object provided with a cavity in a reference surface with a bottom surface provided with a through hole, and a second object with a threaded hole. The through hole is aligned with the threaded hole and the fastener shaft extends through the through hole and is in threaded engagement with the threaded hole. The biasing member is arranged in the cavity between the fastener head and the bottom surface and is compressed between the fastener head and the bottom surface in response to rotation of the threaded fastener. An alignment surface is movable by rotation of the threaded fastener between a first position outside the cavity, a second position flush with the reference surface and a third position inside cavity.

Abstract: A TDM MIMO FMCW radar comprises an array of physical receivers with a first spacing in a first direction and a plurality of physical transmitters arranged with a second spacing in said first direction. A virtual array signal of a range-Doppler bin relating to a scene with a moving object is processed by a phase compensation method, which introduces a phase ambiguity between the subarrays. For each of the subarrays, a frequency spectrum is computed of those elements of the compensated virtual array signal which correspond to consecutive virtual antenna elements generated by physical receivers belonging to the same row. Next, an amplitude-peak frequency is identified jointly for the frequency spectra of the subarrays. Next, a residual phase shift between a pair of the subarrays is determined by comparing, at the amplitude-peak frequency, the respective phases of the frequency spectra.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of providing a video stream from a system comprising a main unit and a plurality of sensors, wherein the main unit is configured to receive data from the plurality of sensors, the method comprising the steps of: transmitting a multi-view video stream from the main unit to a client, wherein the multi-view video stream represents a multi-view composed of sensor data views from the plurality of sensors in the system; receiving, in the main unit, a command from the client representing a zoom-in operation; computing an updated multi-view according to the received command; evaluating if the updated multi-view includes an area outside a dominating sensor data view in the updated multi-view that is greater than a predetermined threshold; if the area outside the dominating sensor data view is greater than the predetermined threshold, transmitting a multi-view video stream representing the updated multi-view; if the area outside the dominating sensor data view is less than, or equal to, the predetermined threshold, transmitting a single-view video stream representing the dominating sensor data view. The present disclosure further relates to a system for providing a video stream comprising sensor data views.

Abstract: A device for monitoring a heap of material, comprises circuitry for executing a plurality of functions. A region of interest adjusting function determines a respective sample spatial property for regions in the thermal video stream; and adjusts the region of interest such that regions exhibiting a sample spatial property above a threshold are included by the region of interest. A temperature monitoring function over time and within the region of interest, monitors a temperature measure; and if it exceeds a predetermined threshold, generates an alarm event.

Abstract: A method for distributing an audio instruction from a manager site at a client site in a distributed audio system having a plurality of client sites, a generalized audio instruction for playback of audio at the client sites is received via user input at the manager site. The generalized audio instruction includes a plurality of labels which are global in the audio system and are indicative of a time schedule category, an audio zone category, and an audio source category. Pre-defined information which associates the plurality of labels indicative of the time schedule, audio zone, and audio source categories with client site specific identifiers of a time schedule, an audio zone, and an audio source, respectively, is accessed for each of client sites. The generalized audio instruction is adapted using the pre-defined information to generate a specialized audio instruction for each of the one or more client sites.

Abstract: A method and a device for setting a value of an object property in a sequence of metadata frames corresponding to a sequence of video frames is provided. An object is detected in a plurality of video frames. For a temporally first video frame a first value of an object property is determined and the object property is set to have the first value in a metadata frame corresponding to the first video frame. For each subsequent video frame, a subsequent value of the object property is determined and a deviation is calculated with respect to a value of the object property that was last set in a metadata frame. If the deviation exceeds a non-zero threshold, the object property is set to have the subsequent value in a metadata frame corresponding to the subsequent video frame. Otherwise no value of the object property is set in that metadata frame.
