Abstract:
A method of imaging the individual components of systems with sparse spectra using magnetic resonance imaging including the steps of a) exciting nuclei of labeled components using a MRI pulse sequence, b) selecting a proper spectral window to avoid/minimize signal overlap of aliased frequency components. In step a) preferably a spiral chemical shift imaging (spCSI) sequence is employed. In a preferred embodiment, hyperpolarized nuclei of 13C are used for labeling in a pyruvate substrate with metabolites of lacatate, alanine, and bicarbonate.
Abstract:
The invention is a device for influencing the vibration of a planar element having two opposite surfaces and a neutral fiber plane running between the two surfaces including at least one actuator and at least one sensor which each are provided with transducer materials and are connected to at least one electronic component or an electronic module. The at least one actuator and at least one sensor are completely integrated in the planar element to be spaced from the two surfaces as well as from the neutral fiber plane.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a method for applying a first metal onto a second metal, an isolator or semiconductor substrate by a Diels-Alder reaction, in particular a Diels-Alder reaction with inverse electron demand. The present invention further concerns the binding units L 1960 and F 160.
Abstract:
A sensor array for measuring the deformation of an area caused by a force, comprises a first strip and a second strip arranged in the same plane on the area so as to form a tunnel junction of which at least the first strip is movably arranged on the area so that the gap between the two strips is increased when the area is deformed as a result of the action of the force.
Abstract:
A device is described for vibration damping, which is attachable on a mechanical structure or integratable therein, having at least one mass which is indirectly or directly operationally linked to the structure via elastic means, referred to as the so-called damper mass, and at least one actuator for changing a stiffness which can be associated with the elastic means. The invention provides an electrical power source, which is capable of generating electrical power exclusively using an oscillating relative movement resulting along the operational link between the damper mass and the structure, and a regulating unit, which is connected to the electrical power source, which activates the at least one actuator as a function of the vibration behavior of the structure based upon a vibration damping rule.
Abstract:
A method for producing a device for detecting an analyze, comprises the following steps: a) disposing a first conductor having an electrode function on an insulating substrate; b) disposing a first passivation layer on the conductor; c) opening the passivation layer in a locally delimited manner, so that the conductor is exposed in a locally delimited manner; d) disposing a sacrificial layer on the conductor in the opening; g) disposing a second passivation layer on the electrode and on the second conductor; h) opening the second passivation layer and the electrode so that the sacrificial layer is exposed; and i) removing the sacrificial layer. Also comprising an appropriately designed device and the use thereof.
Abstract:
A method of applying a pattern of metal, metal oxide, and/or semiconductor material on a substrate, a pattern created by that method, and uses of that pattern.
Abstract:
The invention is a device and a method for eliminating vibrations of a mechanical structure with at least one electromechanical converter material that is actively connected to the mechanical structure and connected to an electrical circuit with at least one electrical impedance. The electrical circuit is connected to an interface, via which the at least one electrical impedance can be variably adjusted by wireless or wired communications with a control unit that is separated from the electrical circuit in which the electrical impedance features at least one variable ohmic resistor, inductive resistor or capacitor.
