The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Pseudolysimachion genus plant, and the catalpol derivatives isolated therefrom having anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-asthmatic activity. The extract of Pseudolysimachion genus plant and the catalpol derivatives isolated therefrom shows potent suppressing effect on elevated IgE, IL-4 and IL-13 levels and eosinophilia in the plasma and BALF, and mucus overproduction in the lung tissues in an OVA-induced asthmatic mouse model. Therefore, it can be used as the therapeutics or functional health food for treating and preventing inflammatory, allergic and asthmatic disease.

The present invention relates to an anoikis-inducing agent comprising a Tiarella polyphylla extract, a tiarellic acid compound isolated therefrom or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which is specific to cancer cells expressing a tumor-associated antigen L6 or a homolog thereof. The Tiarella polyphylla extract, the tiarellic acid compound isolated therefrom or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof of the present invention leads to loss of cell adhesion to reduce cancer cell proliferation and exhibits the effect of inducing cell death in cancer cells expressing a tumor-associated antigen L6 or a homolog thereof, thereby being used for preventing and treating cancer diseases due to a tumor-associated antigen L6 or a homolog thereof.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Tiarella polyphylla, and tiarellic acid isolated therefrom having anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-asthmatic activity. The extract of Tiarella polyphylla and the tiarellic acid isolated therefrom shows the inhibitory effect on the LTC4 release in vitro test and the suppressive effect on the IgE level and the cytokine (IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13) production, airway hyperresponsiveness, and leukocyte infiltration in OVA-induced asthmatic mice. The present invention relates to a composition comprising extracts of Gramineae plant that improves cell viability under hypoxic conditions by inhibiting apoptosis. Thus, the extract of Triticum aestivum L., one of the Gramineae plant, of the present invention, in particular, prevents damage of brain, heart and kidney in animal models of ischemic diseases, and it also improves memory in an animal model of Alzheimer's disease. Therefore, a composition comprising extracts of Gramineae can be used as therapeutic agents or health care foods for preventing and treating ischemic diseases and degenerative brain diseases.

A novel benzoxazole derivative of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is effective for inhibiting 5-lipoxygenase which is useful for preventing or treating leukotriene-related diseases. The prevention also provides a pharmaceutical composition containing same and a method for preventing or treating leukotriene-related diseases.

The method comprises the steps of: forming the transistor on a substrate and then depositing an interlayer insulating layer, and forming a design pattern of a first conductive layer by vertically etching it using a mask; horizontally overetching the pattern by using the etching process used for forming the pattern; depositing a first insulating film and then depositing the second conductive layer to the thickness needed to protect the first insulating film; vertically etching the second conductive layer, first insulating film and interlayer insulating layer by applying the mask used in vertically etching the first conductive layer; additionally depositing the second conductive layer; forming a design pattern of the second conductive layer by vertically etching it using a mask; horizontally overetching the pattern of the second conductive layer; depositing the second insulating film and then depositing a third conductive layer to have the thickness to protect the second insulating film; vertically etching the third conductive layer and second insulating film by applying the etching mask of the second conductive layer; additionally depositing the third conductive layer. The method attains larger effective capacitance in which a plate electrode layer surrounds even the lower surface of a storage electrode layer of the stack capacitor without using any extra mask.
