    Abstract: A method and an electronic device for configuring signal pads between three-dimensional stacked chips are provided. The method includes: obtaining a plurality of frequency response curves corresponding to a plurality of parameter sets; obtaining an operating frequency; selecting a selected frequency response curve from the plurality of frequency response curves according to the operating frequency, where the selected frequency response curve corresponds to a selected parameter set among the plurality of parameter sets; generating, according to the selected parameter set, a signal pad configuration for configuring a first signal pad and a second signal pad on a surface of a chip; and outputting the signal pad configuration.

    Abstract: An inverter device includes a converter circuit and an output circuit. The converter circuit generates a DC intermediate voltage based on a DC input voltage from a power source. The converter circuit includes: a first inductor and a first switch that are coupled in series across the power source; a second switch and a second inductor that are coupled in series across the power source; and a diode and a capacitor that are coupled in series between a common node of the first inductor and the first switch and a common node of the second switch and the second inductor. The output circuit generates an AC output voltage based on the DC intermediate voltage across the capacitor.

    Abstract: A bone expandable device comprises two expanding members, a retractable member and a fastener. The two expanding members are joined together for forming a cavity therebetween, each the expanding member includes two flexible parts and a fixed part. The two flexible parts are connected to the fixed part separately, and each the flexible part can be bent from the fixed part. The retractable member is disposed in the cavity and includes a first part and a second part. The first part is movably sleeved on the second part, and a length of the retractable member can be adjusted by moving the first part or the second part. The fastener is for fastening the two expanding members together. When the length of the retractable member is increasing, the two opposite ends of the retractable member would push against the four flexible parts to expand the flexible parts outwardly from the cavity.

    Abstract: A lighting system and a driving circuit thereof are provided. The driving circuit is configured to drive a light emitting device. The driving circuit includes a bulk voltage converter. The bulk voltage converter receives an input voltage and converts the input voltage to generate a driving voltage. The bulk voltage converter includes a snubber circuit, a power switch, and an inductor. The snubber circuit receives the input voltage through a first node and generates a snubber voltage at a second node according to the input voltage. The power switch is turned on or off according to a control signal. The inductor is coupled between the first node and a third node. The driving circuit is coupled to the light emitting device through the first node and the third node and provides the driving voltage to the light emitting device.

    Abstract: A method for estimating parameters of a direct current machine by Laplace transform performed by a computer system. The method includes establishing a transient model of the DC machine and a transfer function based on the transient mode; transforming the transfer function from the time domain to the frequency domain by the Laplace transform to obtain each of an armature current and a rotational speed of the DC machine as a function of frequency; expressing the armature current and the rotational speed as polynomial fractions by polynomial regression, and comparing the functions of the frequency and the polynomial fractions to output values of the armature resistance, the armature inductance, the back electromotive force constant, the moment of inertia and the friction coefficient. As such, the accuracy and operational efficiency in estimating the parameters of the DC machine can be improved.
