摘要: Methods, apparatus, and systems are provided for caching. A caching process is automatically modified in response to update eligibility and an interference relation for a plurality of threads. Data is read into a cache, and a reference to the data is provided to a plurality of threads. An initial thread receives a signal from a last thread once the last thread has the reference to the data. The initial thread, in response to the signal, modifies the data and updates changes to the data within the cache and then sends another signal to a next thread, indicating that the next thread may now perform a volatile operation on the data within the cache.

摘要: Critical sections used for multiple threads in a parallel program to access shared resource may be selected to merge with each other to reduce the number of signals/tokens used to create critical sections. Critical section merge may be based on a summarized dependence graph which is obtained from an instruction level dependence graph constructed based on a result of critical section minimization.

摘要: A performance testing apparatus for a heat pipe includes an immovable portion having a heating member located therein for heating an evaporating section of a heat pipe requiring testing. A movable portion is capable of moving relative to the immovable portion and has a heating member therein for heating the evaporating section of the heat pipe. A receiving structure is defined between the immovable portion and the movable portion for receiving the evaporating section of the heat pipe therein. A positioning structure extends from the immovable portion to ensure the receiving structure being capable of precisely receiving the heat pipe. Temperature sensors are attached to the immovable portion and the movable portion for detecting temperature of the heat pipe.

摘要: A battery cover latching assembly (30) is used in a portable electronic device (9). The portable electronic device has a housing (10) and a battery cover (20). The battery cover has a flange (242) extending from one end portion thereof. The housing defines a receiving cavity (18) in one end portion thereof. The battery cover latching assembly includes a button (40) and a wedging block (52). The button has a first wedging surface (4462) formed at one end thereof. The wedging block has a second wedging surface (522) formed at a first end thereof. The button and the wedging block are elastically mounted in the receiving cavity. The first wedging surface mates with the second wedging surface. The flange is releasably mounted with the wedging block.
