An additive concentrate for improving the lubricity of low sulfur fuels comprises an additive composition diluted in an aromatic solvent, said composition comprising the reaction product of a first glyceride possessing an unsaturated fatty acid content of at least about 40 mole %, based on the total weight of fatty acid present in the first glyceride, and an iodine number of greater than 35, a second glyceride possessing an unsaturated fatty acid content of less than about 20 mole %, based on the total weight of the fatty acids present in the second glyceride, and an iodine number of less than 35, and, at least one alkanolamine. The concentrate remains fluid and stable at low temperatures and, when added to low sulfur fuels, improves lubricity, enhances fuel economy and minimizes engine deposits.

A method of impeding the evaporation of a solvent by at least partially dissolving a solvent soluble polymer in the solvent in sufficient amounts so as to impede the evaporation of the solvent is disclosed. In one embodiment the soluble polymer may be selected from the group including oligomeric or polymeric homo-, co-, and terpolymers wherein a vinylcyclohexyl moiety comprises at least 10% weight of the polymer. Another aspect is generally directed to a method of storing a solvent including placing the solvent in a suitable container for storage, and dissolving in at least a portion of the solvent sufficient amounts of a soluble polymer so as to impede the evaporation of the solvent. Also described are compositions including a solvent and a polymer dissolved in the solvent so as to impede evaporation of the solvent.

The invention provides a stabilized fuel additive composition comprising a major portion of the reaction product of a 4-alkyl-2-morpholinone and an alkylphenoxypolyoxyalkylene amine and a minor portion of a stabilizing agent sufficient to prevent the formation of haze in the additive composition comprising a compound selected from polypropyleneoxide diamines of formula H.sub.2 N(CH.sub.2 CHCH.sub.3 O).sub.n NH.sub.2 where n is a number between about 4 and about 25, and triethylene tetramine. A rust and corrosion inhibiting marine diesel engine lubricating oil additive is provided which comprises a mixture of:(a) an oligomeric polythiocyclic imide represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R and R.sup.1 each are a (C.sub.1 -C.sub.50) saturated or unsaturated aliphatic group and n is an integer of 0 to 5; an oligomeric amine represented byR"--NH.sub.2where R" is dodecyl or a (C.sub.12 -C.sub.25) alkyl group; and either(b) a polymeric additive of a poly [ethylene-co-propylene)-g-succinic anhydride] represented by the formula ##STR2## wherein ethylene (E) and propylene (P) are randomly incorporated; a and b correspond to 60 mole % and 40 mole %, respectively; and the repeat unit, c, is an integer of 40 to 40,000 so that the overall molecular weight of said succinic anhydride is 50,000 to 70,000 AMU's and an(c) amino thiocyclic represented by the formula ##STR3##
