    Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a crosslinkable propylene polymer composition comprising melt mixing and reacting, preferably in an extruder, a heterophasic propylene copolymer composition A, at least one crosslinkable grafting component B represented by the formula R1SiR2qY3-q and a radical initiator C. The invention also relates to the moisture cross-linkable polypropylene polymer composition obtainable by the process, to a cross-linked polypropylene polymer composition, to the use of the cross-linkable composition for the manufacture of adhesives, sealants, films, foams, coatings or shaped articles and the use of the crosslinked propylene polymer composition in food packaging, medical devices, textile packaging, technical films and protection films.

    Abstract: A propylene-butene random copolymer composition comprising 98 to 99.99 wt % of a propylene-butene random copolymer based on the total weight of the propylene-butene random copolymer composition, and 0.01 to 1 wt % based on the total weight of propylene-butene random copolymer composition of an alpha nucleating agent, the composition having a melt flow rate MFR2 (230° C./2.16 kg) measured according to ISO 1133 in the range of from 20.0 to below 150.0 g/10 min a butene content in the range of from 4.0 to 8.5 wt % based on the total weight of the propylene-butene random copolymer, and a relative amount of erythro regio-defects in the range of from 0.01 to 1.2 mol %, determined by quantitative 13C NMR spectroscopy, as described herein.
