    Abstract: A battery pack and an electric vehicle are provided. The battery pack includes a casing and a battery assembly arranged inside the casing. The battery assembly includes a battery unit and a reinforcing member. The battery unit includes N cells. At least some of the cells in the battery unit are connected by M reinforcing members. An outer surface of each of the cells includes a bottom surface, a top surface, and lateral surfaces. The bottom surface of the cell faces a bottom surface of the casing. The lateral surfaces include a first lateral surface and two opposite second lateral surfaces. The first lateral surface has a largest area among the lateral surfaces. An area of the first lateral surface is greater than an area of the bottom surface and the area of the first lateral surface is greater than an area of the top surface. The N cells are arranged in sequence. The second lateral surfaces of two adjacent cells are arranged opposite to each other. The reinforcing member is fixedly bonded to the first lateral surface of each cell in Q adjacent cells. N>Q≥2.

    Abstract: A battery pack, a vehicle, and an energy storage device are provided. The battery pack includes: a battery pack housing and a plurality of rectangular cells, the battery pack housing having a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; where the battery pack has a dimension greater than or equal to 600 mm along the first direction, and at least one rectangular cell accommodating unit is formed in the battery pack housing; the plurality of rectangular cells are arranged in the rectangular cell accommodating unit along the second direction; the rectangular cell extends along the first direction, and one rectangular cell is disposed in each rectangular cell accommodating unit along the first direction; the rectangular cell has a thickness of D, a length of L, and a height of H; the battery pack has a dimension greater than or equal to L along the first direction; and a length direction of at least one rectangular cell extends from one side of the rectangular cell accommodating unit to the other side of the rectangular cell accommodating unit along the first direction, and meets: L>H, L>D, 600 mm≤L≤2500 mm, 23≤L/D≤208.

    Abstract: A heating system for heating a battery, includes an inverter including three bridge arms, an alternating current motor, a first controller, and a connection line. A positive electrode of the battery connects to upper bridge arms of the inverter. A negative electrode of the battery connects to lower bridge arms of the inverter. Midpoints of the three bridge arms connects to head ends of three coils of the alternating current motor respectively. Tail ends of the three coils connects together as a neutral point. A first end of the connection line connects to the neutral point, and a second end of the connection line connects to the battery. The first controller inputs a drive signal to the inverter. The battery, the inverter, the alternating current motor, and the connection line form an alternating current self-heating loop. A heating device connects to the connection line, and heats the battery.

    Abstract: A power battery comprises a first cell group and a second cell group connected in series. The heating system comprises an inverter, an AC motor, a first controller, and a plurality of connection lines. The midpoints of three bridge arms of the inverter are connected to the head ends of three-phase coils of the AC motor in a one-to-one correspondence. The tail ends of the AC motor are connected together to form a neutral point. First ends of the connection lines are connected to the neutral point of the AC motor. Second ends of the connection lines are connected to a connection point between the first cell group and the second cell group. The first controller is configured to input a drive signal to the inverter. The first cell group, the second cell group, the inverter, the AC motor, and the connection lines form an AC self-heating loop.
