Abstract: A battery cell includes an electrode assembly, a housing, and an end cap. The electrode assembly includes a tab. The housing has an opening and includes a limit part, and is configured to accommodate the electrode assembly. The end cap includes a cap body and a convex part. The cap body is configured to cover the opening. In a thickness direction of the end cap, the cap body is located at one side of the limit part away from the electrode assembly. The limit part is configured to limit the cap body from moving relatively to the housing towards the electrode assembly. The convex part protrudes from an inner surface of the cap body towards the electrode assembly. The convex part is configured to go beyond the limit part away from the cap body, so that the convex part is pressed against the tab.

Abstract: An end cap assembly includes an end cap configured to close a housing of a battery cell, an adapting member configured to electrically connect an electrode assembly of the battery cell to an electrode terminal of the battery cell, and a supporting member between the adapting member and the end cap. An explosion-proof mechanism provided at the end cap is configured to be actuated to release an internal pressure of the battery cell when thermal runaway occurs in the battery cell. The supporting member is made of a high-temperature-resistant material. An orthographic projection of the adapting member on a first surface of the end cap at least partially overlaps an orthographic projection of the explosion-proof mechanism on the first surface of the end cap and an orthographic projection of the supporting member on the first surface. The first surface is a surface of the end cap facing the housing.

Abstract: The present application provides a battery cell, a battery, and an electrical device. The battery cell comprises a case, a cell, a first expandable member, and a second expandable member. The cell is arranged inside the case. There is a gap between an outer wall of the cell and an inner wall of the case. The first and second expandable members are both arranged in the gap and are configured to expand when encountering an electrolyte solution to fill the gap. The first and second expandable members are spaced apart and can expand when encountering the electrolyte solution. After expansion, the gap between the cell and the case can be reduced, thereby restricting relative movement between the cell and the case, reducing the possibility of fatigue fracture of connecting sheets, and contributing to protecting tabs.
